Great price, it was selling for this price in the 20% eBay sale and people were going gaga over it
Amazon just giving away stuff now.

Plus these prices are better than the previous warehouse 20%
I would say spending £30 more for a 6 year warranty is better value ?

Richer sounds say they'll beat any advertised deal web or in store, so for the same price as well as a 6 year guarantee, seems worth it.
I was about to get this for my ps4 pro but it is only 50hz refresh rate

Ive just got a pro, does 50hz make a massive difference?

It just means it wont be able to display any games at 60fps that would normally play at that, so it would be limited to 50 fps

Is this same price on Ebay?

Nice tv, got my dad one last year during the world cup for £249 via bluelightcard discount. Excellent set, sound quality is superb also, a refreshing change.

Depending what you play. Cod bo4 servers don't run at 60fps so it's good for Cod.
I read some reviews before buying LG again. I bought the previous model to this the 635 and within 15 months has purple patches all over it . Seems a manufacturing fault but LG are not interested. I now have purple snow when watching game of thrones.

It doesn't work the way you think. Have another read up about it online.

So you're the only person that knows that treyarch have recently updated the blackout servers to run at 60fps? Because I follow just about everyone that would have that info on twitter, (and play it daily), and multiple sources say that's not the case. We are talking directly about running call of duty black ops 4 on a Ps4 Pro.

No your right servers are 50hz tick rate. But the client ie console/TV running higher will give an advantage onscreen
This is how PC can run at 200+ fps on a 60hz server tick rate server. So however little a TV goes over 50hz it will be an advantage even if the server is at a 50hz tick.

But tbh your prob right regarding it for consoles as I dont think consoles can do over 60fps anyway. So yeah a 50hz TV wont be missing much from a 50/60hz server as the console wont push higher framerates unless the gfx are toned down.

When the new gen consoles are out, they may go for much higher fps... I'd be getting something to last a while with a higher refresh if hes getting a next gen console.

That is true to other games with fight scenes such as spiderman/batman or mortal kombat. But I was just specifically on about treyarch not running their black ops 4 servers at a high enough fps. It launched at 20hz and hasn't gone up drastically since and still isn't at 60fps so a 4k 60hz TV doesn't make a whole lot of difference, it really shows when you play it. But yeah, with the ps5 around the corner it would be better to get a TV with at least a 60hz refresh rate or even one of those new 8k monitors.

They will only match if the other seller offers a "similar guarantee". So doubt they'd match Amazon.
Looks decent. Thanks op.

I’d buy any make than an LG! Even a Bush
OK after a week or two here's my review:

Tons of judder, back light bleed is apparent, menu has crashed about 3 times in total. Netflix wasnt loading at all until I pulled out plug. Ethernet/ Wifi no difference in speed. So annoying having to navigate menu as you have to scroll to bottom of quick menu in order to access the main menu.

Picture quality is great, can't see any odd colouring, plenty of calibration options. Sound is still impressive
