Cinema-like picture

You don't have to go to the cinema to enjoy great picture quality. Stock up on the popcorn and settle in for blockbuster with the LG 43UK6470PLC 43" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV.

The unique IPS 4K display delivers vibrant and vivid colours with brilliant detail. Appreciate the beauty of the natural world in a Nat Geo documentary, or put on Spielberg's latest flick and revel in the details. What's more, you get a great view, no matter where you're sitting.

HDR delivers improved contrast and colours so all your HDR10 and HLG content looks great. LG have taken it a step further on the UK6470 with adaptable advanced HDR which masters each scene for pinpoint picture reproduction. Even regular content gets upgraded to HDR-like quality – your soaps never looked so good.

Smart webOS

Forget complaining about there being nothing on TV. LG's webOS is packed with apps to keep the whole family happy. Catch that must-see drama series from ITV, settle down for a Netflix marathon in 4K, or rent a movie from the Sky Store.

And with Freeview Play you can access content straight from your TV guide. Simply scroll back up to seven days and see what show's you've missed. No more remembering to record Eastenders before you head out the door.

ThinQ AI & Google Assistant

With a compatible Magic Remote (sold separately) you can make your living room smart. ThinQ AI is LG's voice command platform that works in sync with your other ThinQ smart devices, even those from other manufacturers. Ask your TV to play a film on Netflix, switch on the news, or turn up the volume.

And with Google Assistant built-in you can do even more. Find out what's in your calendar, how long your commute will take, check the weather, control your smart home devices, and much more. All you need to do is ask.

Effortless installation

For setup without the squabbles, our Team Knowhow experts can connect your new TV to your Blu-ray player, sound bar, and other devices. They'll even get you online so you can put your feet up and start watching straight away. Pass the popcorn.

Essential extras

Want your TV wall mounted? No problem. We've got brackets that tilt, swivel, or fix your TV in place for the best viewing spot in the house. Alternatively, browse our range of TV stands – we've got enough designs to keep even the pickiest interior designer happy.

Avoid the disappointment of getting your shiny new telly home and realising you don't have the cable you need to connect your games console or Blu-ray player. Sandstrom Gold Series HDMI cables support all resolutions and come with a reassuring lifetime guarantee.

Picked this up on Saturday, seems spot on so far. Using my pro on it and it's decent for gaming!
congratulations on your first post.have some heat
Been looking for a 42/43 inch 4K Smart TV as a Christmas present for my eldest son for around the £300 Mark.

Looking at all the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals and seemed to be the same tv on offer everywhere. ie. Samsung 7020 and LG 6200 models. So the base models.

This seems a little better but its not listed on rtings.com so hard to find out how it compares, especially with input lag etc as this will used primarily for gaming with an Xbox One X. So 4k and compatible HDR support are a must.

Would love to hear anyone with experience of this TV in this area.

This is my very first deal post so forgive me if it's not up to scratch or is not worth the money.

I'm using it on my pro and so far it's brilliant. Haven't noticed any lag or issues at all. And that's on battlefield v. For the price go for it bud! Looks nice too. Not super thin on the back mind
this does have very good input lag but it is the same panel as the 6300 just with a different stand. It will be better than the no-name brands around this price though.
I've jumped in and bought it. I won't really be able to comment on it until Christmas though as I've bought it as a gift.

Thank you for everyone that took time to comment. Much appreciated.
These LG tv's are getting out of hand, every night a new post appears for a different model all around the £329 - £349 price range. I think the best spec from the below list is the PLF one that john lewis and argos are selling - but does anyone know of a site that explains the differences in plain English?

43UK6470PLC
43UK6300PLB
43UK6400PLF
43UK6500PLA
43UK6200PLA
Can anyone tell me the code to pair sky remote to TV. Tried about 10 different ones but nothing. When I type in TV model its not showing up
Which? aren't to keen about this model. At this size they recommend the 43uk6300plb (£329) and 43UK6950PLB (£399).

Anyone got any thouhgts on ewither of these?

Says in a post above the 6300 has the same panel as the 6470, just a different stands - so why would which then prefer the 6300 over this one? I'll do some more research tonight.
Afaik all lg tvs at this price range use rgbw panels, you you are not getting true 4k, its more like 3k with white pixels.

Looks like you're correct, all the models I've mentioned above have panel specs that say 'RGBW structure 2880 (RGB) + 960 (W). The first model I can find that doesn't have this spec seems to be the 43UK6750PLD then the 43UK6950PLB. So are these models the full 4K panels? More research required
Absolutely. Ill never recommend LG for anything other than their OLED tv range, arguing 3k and rgbw panels are as good as true 4k is absolute nonsense and they should be fined for misleading consumers imo.
It's back up to £399 now.
