Nearly got this last week at £449 but was pleasantly surprised with an £70 price drop that puts it in the same price bracket as the lower level models and the cheapest its been seen on here

Says 10-21 days for delivery but I picked one up in Crayford today and there seem to be plenty about

Freesat, 4 x HDMI and a magic remote sweeten the deal for a really nice TV for the money

Avoid the nu7400 at all costs ordered from Very with £80 off worst tv ever, the picture quality fades to a lighter shade if I’m sitting at different angles in the room,I’m returning it,and will make sure I get a better model now

The 43 NU7400 comes with either a VA or an IPS panel.

The VA panel is superior but only if you sit directly in front of it. If you move to either side then the image fades. Most people actually hope to get the VA panel in the 43 inch.

The IPS panel is fine looking at it from either side or directly in front. Alas, the blacks are not so black and apparently it is noticeable more in a dark room.

You can tell by the serial number on the back whether you have a VA or IPS panel - the numbers are over on AVForums - but it sounds as if you have a VA panel.

So is this LG comparable to the NU7400? Or which is better?

The NU7400 is a 4K TV. The LG is not true 4K.

I personally like the LG TV's and I like the WebOs on the LG TV's but 4K purists will tell you that, in this cheaper LG TV's, LG cheats a bit with the pixels shown on the screen and, technically, they are more 3K than 4K.

The NU7400 Samsung is a 'proper' 4K TV.

Spending 15 minutes reading the below guide will help educate you, help you choose the best TV FOR YOU and perhaps save you some cash.

Hisense A6xxx Series - You can find these for as little as £300 and there is little reason to spend more at this size.Samsung NU70xx series - The next best value to the Hisense.Samsung NU74xx series - Builds on the NU70xx model with a wide colour gamut. Warning IPS variants of the 43" spotted, beware. If you do end up with a VA panel it is good value compared to the others. *New* - possible way to tell panel type pre purchase. Thanks too @desinho

The 43 inch NU7400 Samsung, with the ebay code, can be had for a few pence short of £342.00 at the moment if anyone is interested.

As I said, most people consider the VA panels to be far superior.

Yes reading comments on forums it appears it does, but having my family sitting at different angles of the room they have a faded picture so mines going back, shame as it was perfect view from where I sit
Could you tell me where the power/hdmi connections are? I need side ones not in the back as I want to wall mount (as close to the wall as poss)
Showing as £399
