Only 50hz, no 3D and not 4k. Don't see why anyone would buy a telly this primitive

I would because my £1100 Panasonic broke in 4 yrs and the £565 sammy lasted just over 3 yrs. I'm never going to spend more than £350 on tv. Voted hot obviously great price for some

Maybe they don't watch much tv

Great price , LG are fabulous tv's , fantastic quality , who needs 3D? not me . HEAT ADDED .

Not available at any stores stores I checked, including Shropshire, Midlands or North West, good luck searching in your own area.

Indeed it's a scientific fact that trolls only like TVs that are 600Hz, 4K with HDMI 2.0 and 3D.

Because they only want to spend about 320 quid?

that looks like a cracking deal

3D makes a HD picture look ****! What's the point? Also 4k will be great one day when you can actually watch your TV channels on it at 4k. This is a good TV and a good brand for a low price, also Argos have their buy now pay later at 0%

Bought the same TV but 42" for 300 quid a few months ago. Cracking deal would definitely recommend. LG is a trusted brand hence my purchase! Heat added

Hot and stock near me! Was gonna go for the John lewis 40" Samsung but now I seen this!?

Barny: who cares about 50hz? Barely noticeable unless you're a hardcore gamer. 3D? Who really care about 3D... and as for 4k? If you dont care about 3D, you sure as well don't care about 4k, it's too new for most of us to even give a toss about anyway.
Bearing all that in mind: 2 hdmi ports, 47 inches of screen, an LG badge with a £350 price tag and it proves to be a very attractive tv indeed.

Seems I spoke too soon says its in stock then not when at checkout

Probably because everyone's not super rich. And most people don't know/care or can tell the difference between 50hz/200hz/600hz. Also, 3D is overrated and I'd rather watch without it. And sorry, I forgot that TV channels (or anything) broadcasted in 4K already...

When you go to reserve it though it will say out of stock

4K only has a use right now, and that's for high end PC use with monitors (graphic design or gaming). There's absolutely no need to look for a TV with 4K - the tech really needs to be brushed aside and forgotten about for the foreseeable future for casual use. That's far more USEFUL cutting-edge technology you should be looking for... like curved TV's!

And seeing as TV is broadcast at 24-25fps (which = 24-25Hz), it means 50Hz is absolutely fine. The funny thing is, these people who slate 50/60Hz, would happily buy some no name '100Hz' rubbish TV, only to get tons of horrible artifacting, because it's cheap and nasty rubbish.

Obviously, it would be preferable to get a TV that has a 100Hz CMR feature that you could turn on for football and perhaps consoles, but everything else with it on will get that horrible 'soap opera' effect...

At the end of the day, this is a 47" TV for a little over £300, how anybody can consider it not a deal is complete moron...

I bought an LG LCD TV with decent spec at the time about 6 years ago for £550 and its going strong, this looks like a great price!

Looks like only our friends North of the Border that can take advantage of this...

Because it is a good price? We have a large basic LG, and it has been very reliable and generally quite good.

However, this is a supermarket TV, and it could be a rebadged Vestel. Probably still good for the price, but not brand name quality.

Reserved mine, thanks. Heat added.

I brought one on monday and it was used!! I took it back and after about a hour they finally took it back. Took a risk and purchased another which was fine, bargin for the price.

Halifax has 8% cash back on their cashback extra thing for argos at the moment.

Anyone know any other deal similar to this?

These are not 50 Hz pretty sure they are 100 or 120.

I'm waiting on buying a nice big TV like this size, but the LG 37" LCD TV that I bought in 2008 is still going strong.

Had this set. It's a good picture for the money

I only sold it as the viewing angle wasn't too good.

Its a good deal, it will defo help someone out who has a tight budget. As for those moaners, why even open the thread if ur just gonna **** it off pfft!

I'm thinking he's being sarcastic

good deal if you can find one

Really good deal ......But why oh why do LG not fit Headphone sockets .......that's the only thing putting me off buying this.....and as for 4k and 3d ....No interest to me..... good deal though ....heated.

60Hz would make this a done deal, but 50Hz is just a little to low
