I bought the 47LA620V around 2 weeks go, Nice TV, Really happy with the smart features, However the crosstalk on the 3D is somewhat depressing for me, Rest of my family don't seem to mind, But I'm quite pedantic with my picture quality, Just something to be aware of.

100hz ooh! nasty

Thanks

It's the poor mans 3D, I have a passive 3D and plan on returning. I'd rather pay extra for active 3D or not at all.

I had the better 47la740v

HD picture - excellent
sound - ok
3d - ok
standard picture - terrible
shape/frame/stand - excellent

I sold it on pretty rapidly and went back to panasonic plasma.
Better in everyway except energy efficiency....and weight ;-)

Actually it is not 100Hz. It has a "motion rate" of 100. The motion rate is twice the refresh rate in Hz, which is of course 50Hz.

Which is rather funny, because a 3D TV has to be able to show two pictures 50 times a second, so it should really have a refresh rate of 100 Hz. Call me confused, but I call them liars.

That being said, I do not see the deal. I got a regular 47" LG 2 years ago for a lot less.

find the sound on LG tvs quite poor.
samsung much better

I picked up the 42" version of this for £359 on here a few weeks ago and it really is a very very good screen for the money.
It looks great as well hardly any bezel, picture is excellent and I have found the sound to be good for a flat panel screen.

There is a nice app for you smartphone you use to control smart tv, touch pad cursor great for browsing and of course you can use the phone to type. There is an lg cloud app for synching phone pics etc and view on tv.

All in great screen. People talking about the refresh rate its all done with post processing so the various screen modes just adjust.

Hot!

For the paranoid (and concerned!) out there, there was an article recently about LG TVs sending out personal viewing details.

Was about to put this but I know last time an LG TV came up someone was cast aside when they linked the article.

Thank you

How does it compare with la740 which john lewis is matching price at 750
