Found 29th Dec 2013
Today we were looking for a new TV in the sale and came across this TV. A added bonus that it was 3D and came with 4 pairs of glasses.

It is a great deal, so great it was OOS in all stores near me.
HOWEVER they are getting more shipped in tomorrow we were told as they get deliveries on Mondays.

Specs for the TV:
•Smart TV: Catch up TV & App Store
•Tuner: Freeview HD
•3D Passive: 4 pairs of glasses included (The man said it worked with cinema 3D glasses)
•400 Hz processing rate

Good luck if there is any in stock near you!

You could get this for £574 with O2 priority from Currys I think?

Yes you could, its £25 of a £250 spend or £50 of a £750 spend

great price i have the 620v paid 599 at j lewis few months ago with 5 years warranty, personally i would go for this just for the 5 year warranty.

It never ever cost £999 at first place.
Second-this particular model is one of the discontinued LG models, not the best reviews too...

Really, we can't find any bad reviews about it.

We've been trying to decide about this deal as it's pretty good, but in the end we've gone for a John Lewis price match on the 47LA620V at Richer Sounds. It's effectively the same TV but without magic remote (have iPhone app) or dual play glasses (which are only £10 a pair). The clincher was the 5 year guarantee for me.

This is a pc world/currys exclusive model so you wont find many reviews you will have to look at the model that represents the specs the closest, none of the 2013 lg model range get terrible reviews they are all very good tvs, this tv is a good price but i would get one with 5 year warranty.

its so people cant go off elsewhere and get a price match as to get a price match it has to be same model number.

Just average picture quality and poor sound...Samsung would do better in same price range and more reliable than LG, as LG is not the same as it was in Gold Star name times.

I have been to currys today and have looked at both the 620v and the 660v the only difference I think was the 620v has 200 motion clarity and the 660v has 400 motion clarity both were £599 would there be much difference with the extra 200 motion clarity

Today we actually went and got the 620v because all of our nearest Currys stores (20 stores!) where OOS of the 660v.
We can not even tell the difference from the 660v and in the end it was better from Richer Sounds as they gave us £10 off + 2 free pairs of 3D glasses.
It is a great TV and you also get the 5 year warranty with Richer Sounds which cost £249 from Currys!
So you can not really tell the difference.

Surprised this hasn't went hotter - really is a very good price compared against similar LG TVs elsewhere.

Because just few people like LG brand. And not without reason.

The difference between the 620v and the 660v is the 200ghz motion rate and the tv is slimmer so it looks nicer, the tv has gone up by £50 at PC world as they have seen an increase in demand for the 660v I got the 660v when it was £599
The tv is great the sound quality is amazing as it has 3 speakers making the sound very very clear and also why would you need 5 year warrenty for a tv all you have to do Is look after it and all a tv does it sit there so no moving parts they give you 5 year warrenty to draw your wattle tigon but realistically it's useless.

Lots of differences between the Currys 660V and the Richer Sounds 640V Take a look at the LG site here
