Under £400 for this TV, £465 is the cheapest elsewhere so looks like a good deal

nice price but 2 hdmi and 1 usb let this set down terribly.

get a HDMI switch problem solved, heat!

got this tv when it was down b4 to 425 great tv picture fantastic cannot fault it go on treat yourself!!!!

2 hdmi on a 47 inch set, shocking

I have the generation before this set, although it has 3 hdmi so might have been a slightly better set in it's day and it is a fantastic set, although the speakers are ridiculously bad, had to use then for a couple of weeks until I got my amp and speakers set up again and I couldn't get the built in speakers to stop screaching at anything but very quite.

get yourself a home theatre kit and you only need one HDMI hole, thin bezels are not conducive to allowing good sound in the main... so not shocking at all

a lot of the reviews for this TV state great pic and ok sound, so home theatre makes sense, ditch your sky or virgin package and get an android box, then the home theatre is paid for in a few months

If you have a surround sound system then realistically you only ever need 1 HDMI.

Majority of people do not use more than 1 USB so this shouldn't be an issue.

For anyone wanting a SMART TV, you can always buy a NOWTV smart adaptor or something similar for next to nothing.

Anyone know if it has headphone socket please? I know it has line-in, but can't find a single review that states headphone jack. And LG used to leave them off older tvs for whatever reason?

But update
then i read on amazon review here amazon.co.uk/pro…Q4G
there is no headphone jack only optical out for sound bar
For sound, be aware there is no audio output at all aside from an optical lead connection for a soundbar and the like. No headphone socket, no 3.5mm Jack or S/PDIF out. The only available output is for optical leads. This a great shame to me, and feels a bit like a squeeze by LG for you to buy a soundbar with your new TV.

the review on my 1st replys has title LG 47LN540 not LG 47LN540V yet further down on the page of link in my 1st reply says LG 47LN540V an lists headphone socket in connectivity list so im confused now but im more steered an convinced it does not have judging by further investigation

Same at Amazon now

You will need a sound bar as the internal speakers are poor
