On a TV this size the resolution is indistinguishable at normal viewing distances. You may see a bit of colour differences at high brightnesses from the white pixel dilution as I don't think this one has a wide gamut backlight to compensate.

Certainly for a £450 TV it's nothing I'd worry about.

Are there a recording facility? I have a Freesat box with 1TB hard disk - if this tv could record to a hard disk or memory then it’d be perfect for me

20 quid (equates to 8p per week) more at Richer sounds for 5 year's extra warranty, I know which I'd choose! Plus RS may just price match.
