6 year warranty if your near richer sounds …6 year warranty if your near richer sounds https://www.richersounds.com/lg-49uk6400plf.html

Is there a reason why you would need to be near one?
Is this RGBW?
Would this be any good for gaming at 1080p? Wonder what the input lag is like, can't find it on rtings.com
Checked this TV out in Currys today. Not impressed to be honest. First it's fat so will stick off the wall quite a bit. Secondly it's not an IPS panel so viewing angles not so good. It was on my list but isn't now but if it was it would be JL or richer sounds for the longer guarantee as you might just need it. My daughter's LG TV just failed at three and a half years old. Also the cheap Toshiba's are not made by Toshiba.

You must have been looking at a different model. Got the 55” one today and someone was also picking up this 49” one at Argos both boxes stated it has IPS display. The one curry’s are selling for the same price is a different LG model that doesn’t have IPS and is 50”. Argos model is 49UK6400PLF, the curry’s model is 50UK6470PLC.
When I bought the 55” one today they went to give me the 49” model and were about to give someone who had ordered 49” model my 55” one until I stopped them. Argos staff at collection point was adamant they were both the same tv as she said they had the same catalogue number until I told her to look at the size stated on the actual box.

Sounds like a silly excuse for them messing up
effective 3K RGBW panel
Does this TV rotate on it's stand? We have to rotate our current one about 30 degrees to get the angle right for viewing, looks like it should but no mention of it and no where near me has one on display to check

I think if it’s shown in the pic with a stand it has to come with it or say in the small print that it doesn’t have it

Well spotted. Nothing like using the same model number for a different spec, apart from one digit. Indeed LG' website lists the PLF as having IPS. Not that gives me any confidence. I have a 50LB650V sold as having LG's unique IPS panel and advertised as such by LG. Guess what, it has a VA panel by AU Optronics. I complained to Currys a few months after I bought it but they wouldn't offer me a refund. Talk about false advertising and yesterday I clocked this in their showroom in Hull advertising this model as being 100Hz. Says 50Hz on the back. Looking at their slogan "get it right" lol

You will be better off buying the model posted from JL as it's same price but has a 5 year warranty.
