I'd say another 3years min, infrastructure within UK needs to improve to handle the data that comes with 4K quality for most households to genuinely enjoy it.

Most new TVs now are 4k. 4k can handle 1080p but not the other way around. Also most 4k TVs upscale 1080p and lower resolution to 4k. And it's not just the resolution, it is the bandwidth as well. Hdmi 2.0 offers much more bandwidth than hdmi 1.4 found in full HD or 1080p TV.

It's a flawed argument, you could have a good 1080p TV or a poor 4K TV for the same price.
With current 1080p sets you will have the trickle-down technology from historically high-spec televisions. With a cheap 4K you get hobbled quality to justify the premium models.

1080p may not be sexy but it has a few more years left.

Pretty sure this is the same tv? Review suffers from bad banding and Gray Uniformity.
