Says 299 now but when added goes up.. wonder if it's going down to that... mmmm
Ignore me.. links taken me to a different tv??
299 is price for 43 inch
Surely the 4k version is the better buy.

50" MU6120, Hisense 5700, Panasonic EX 700 (50") or an LG UJ630, UJ670. LG tv's are 3k though. I can only recommend what I have owned which is the Samsung.

Although at sub £500 a good HDR tv is hard to find. Wait a month or two, the 2018 were announced last month. The 2017 models might go down in price.

Thanks for information, I think I will wait for couple of months,
You should be looking at 4K TV's if you're going to spend £349.
you can buy stands on amazon that go in the slots where the wall bracket would be, it shortens the leg width
It's only got 2 hdmi ports and one usb. Next to useless for me
Paying £50 less and losing 4k is insane at that price. Spend the extra. You'll thank yourself later.

The cheapest new 4k LG TVs are around £700, unless you're talking about the 2.8k rgbw sets.

Rather have LG 3K TV (which I do own) than a FHD TV at this price. If not buy a Hisense or Toshiba 4K TV instead.

Impossible more like.
Wot no 4K !

If you're on a budget get the LG 49UJ630V for only £50 more. This one is £299 at amazon also so no deal here

Pay 50 quid more for the 2.8k panel if you want to stick with LG in this price range, otherwise go Hisense for proper 4K.
Full HD is definitely on the way out and you'll regret buying this within the next few years as more 4K content becomes available.

Not voted either way.
Tesco are selling a Digihome 49 inch for £299, reduced from £350.
Would people suggest spending the extra £50 on this?
Warning. There is no such thing as LED TV. Samsung's ads are a tad misleading. An LED TV is just an LCD TV that's backlit with light-emitting diodes (LEDs) instead of standard cold-cathode fluorescent lights (or CCFLs).

Thats where my ex wife went.
prices of TVs go up and go down at a whim. There was a LG 49 4k tv at £579 rose to £779 and now £689. I thought about Samsung but reviews on John Lewis for one model stated that the frame cracked. Reviews for all TVs vary from time to time. Modern TVs all seem to need sound bars now .
Nothing as simple as just buying a simple TV

Surely 4k is only better if you have a 4k source. If you only have a 1080p source then this would be crisper as pixel mapping would be 1:1
