Apart from screen size, anyone know how this compares to the Samsung UE55MU7000?
Don't know about the Samsung nic, but this is a great TV. Works spot on with great connections, quite decent sound as well. Paid £599 for mine with 5yr guarantee. Spot on tv. So much better than my last Sony.
Also Quidco from Curry’s for the 49sj810v at the same price. The TVs are essentially the same.

I did put this in the title it's from an email saying it's from boxing day
Very good TV, decent pic for price, LG OS is much better than all others and sound even ok for a thin one.

I bought this from John Lewis during Black Friday, this model is better than the 810v from Currys, the SJ800 Is a full 10 bit HDR screen vs a 8+2bit screen in the 810v.

it’s a brilliant tv at that price!

Both are RGBW panels and both are 8Bit+FRC, neither are true RGB or 10Bit Panels.

Seems to be some debate on it... some information says it is, some says it’s not.

either way, the picture quality is stellar and the sound not to bad for a flat screen. Hunting out a sound bar to complement it
Back up to 649 now

I have a JBL SB400 under mine. The sound is fantastic and it’s the right width.
Ahh my bad
I've ordered it today for £579.00 so I'm confused by all the posts saying it starts on Boxing Day.

Au contraire rodders

The 810 has a crescent stand. The 800 has little feet
Superb TV ... Got mine fron JL for £599 on BF ... UHD content is eye popping ... Looking forward to next years World Cup, as every game will be filmed in UHD.
Just ordered mine from Hughes. 65" for 1070£ (29£ manager discount).
Can't wait to see how good it is. In the shop it looked better than sj950 with the same settings on the same channel.

If u still after a soundbar the LG sh4d is superb. Picked up from currys for £119 down from £300. 300watts and wireless sub. Will need optical cable though as most don't come with one which is daft.
These SJ series LG TVs are awesome. LG says it's 8bit+FRC. Fastest refresh rates of any current TV for sale. Great for gaming. Next best thing to LGs OLED TVs

There is no debate anymore, they are the same TV, only difference is the stand.

Went and got this tv today first impressions is the pictures is great can't fault any of the tv
Had mine delivered today. Really impressed with the picture. Didn't realise it didn't have a VGA port so I'm currently trying to figure out how to view my pc on it, which is tricky as I'm still on xp and I've had my pc for a while, so there's no hdmi port. I'm looking into miracasting as a way round it, though admittedly I've no idea what I'm doing as it's new to me.
