Well I have the 810v and I don't care what panel they have used or if it's 8 bit or 10 all I care about is that it looks and sounds great.... And it does

I've heard rumours about the differences between the two, but since you've bought the other one, I am not gonna break your heart by mentioning them, instead I'll just say "they are both good TVs"

You bought the one that isn't a "proper 10 bit panel". One guess which one is?

this vs Samsung UE49MU6400?

Have got the Samsung sitting at home brand new and boxed still which cost £549 from richer sounds but would possibly return it to buy this if it's a lot better?

How would this handle ps4 pro and xbox one x?

Hey, don't break his heart man. Not much difference between the two.

Bought one

Thanks just purchased it

this or keep hold of my 50" 720p panasonic plasma for now. been waiting for price drops but still have yet to bite, decisions decisions.

Problem with these smaller 4k tvs you have to sit 6 feet awsy to truly see the difference. I rearranged my sitting room so I was no more than 9 feet away from my 65 inch

Be wary https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.powerdirect.co.uk

Thanks for that. A good, safe option would be to get this price-matched with Richer Sounds?

It would appear that richer sounds now say instore only as there also out of stock too, was about to buy till I also saw the trust pilot reviews

Pay by credit card or paypal? Or price match Richer Sounds?

HUKD has a strict policy about retailers that can be posted here. This retailer has been posted here before, so don't worry. If you can, pay via paypal or CC or get Richer sounds to price match this price?

Is it RGBW?

This or the Hisense H55N6800?

One poster mentioned this re the Hisense:

The 6800 is one of Hisense's "ULED" range, the 5700 is direct LED.
Hisense's PCI rating is 1200 on the 5700 and 2200 on the 6800.
The 6800 is classed as HDRPlus
The 6800 has a local dimming feature
The 6800 has 4x HDMI inputs, the 5700 has 3x.
The 6800 has 3 USB ports, the 5700 has 2.
Both have dual band AC wifi built in.

Utimately, the N6800 is a better model and will give a better picture (it's highly rated on AVForums) - but that doesn't mean the 5700 is poor!
If price is a significant factor, the N5700 is probably a better buy. But if you can afford that bit more, the N6800 is the one to get.

So Is this better? The local dimming and things like that are really important and I'm a bit dumb when it comes to working out comparisons between TV sets

Also where is the 10% cashback from quidco? I looked up the power direct folk and its 10% for wall brackets? Was that just an oversight by the OP? It's actually 2%.

For one person only.
Is one in eBay. 5 percent cashback from electrical discount UK.
Bit too small.or I would.have nabbed it.
8 X nectar points too

Available from Electrical Discounts website too, already posted that in description, for the same price + 4% TCB.

I have no idea what difference 10bit panels makes over an 8 but I also got the 810v 49 version and it's looks stunning for sport and also gaming as just played gears of war there and it's fantastic

I find it shocking that LG would have an RGBW panel for this TV, which is in the SUHD range.

Actually you're right. I thought that said all purchases but that's just for wall brackets. So, it's actually 2% quidco & 2.1% TCB - Thanks for correcting me.

This is may be *maybe* RGB+W & a native 10 bit - did some research yesterday & that's what I found. Also, LG rep said the same on TV forums (haven't got the link).

No problem, it's deliberately confusing by the cash back sites. Went and joined up to TCB just in case it was 10% and it says "TV and Wall Brackets" which I assume is meant to be ambiguous too - as if there are some other sort of wall bracket that people buy. Possibly for speakers or something? I don't know, but its not for "TVs and Wall Brackets" - note that correct english would require TVs to be plural for the discount to apply to TVs alone.

Not exactly sure. But LG have to be better than a Chinese brand, surely? This was LG's high-end TV with Super UHD. I'd personally go for this - Though I had a bad experience with LG's 630V, will give them a chance again.

hi there so these two tv's Samsung MU7000 or LG 55SJ850 both around £900 are on very, the samsung is 899 and the lg is 999 but is due to be reduced at 8pm so will be around 800-950 ish i would guess, so basically similar spec both came out within last year both 4k hdr 10 55 inch... both reviewed on most sites as 8-9/10 or 4/5 stars so both good, im really stuck at what to buy, is there an obvious TECH difference in specs or something ive missed, fo netlix, and odd gaming, both seem fine is there really, any big difference that would help me, my kids are going mad without a family tv and i dont wanna buy one and then 2 weeks later someone says ohh, you should of bought this one its better because xxxxxx.... thanks for any help people can give, i really appreciate it. also dont need other stores better deals, just moved house so my banks wiped out, very is buy now pay later so ideal even if slightly more expensive. cheers.

Which is better this or currys 810v. I was leaning towards more with 810v as the stands will suite my display unit more, but this talk of 8bit and 10bit panels n IPS panels making me confuse. I want to buy it mainly for Xbox one x and PS4 Pro. Any advice please

The 810V definitely has a better stand - but that's really it. This is supposed to be 10 bit (that's what I believe after doing some research yesterday), so the better TV set IMHO

If you mean it has extra white sub-pixels rather than replacing the others, I highly doubt it, which is called WRGB. I believe LG use this in their OLEDs only. According to displayspecifications, this is RGBW, as in the one where the white sub-pixel replaces a red, green or blue sub-pixel in each pixel.

I agree, it's just that a lot of posters on here talk about being "pleasantly surprised" and things by Hisense. Not sure if this is informed people or just some how that Hisense have managed to get their exact target market figured out to the extent that those who are planning on being disappointed end up being surprised while those buying LG have certain expectations which sometimes LG don't live up to.

That's to say LG could still be better and without taking my own eyeballs down to a store to find out side by side I don't know what to think.
