Cheapest Nanocell TV I could find. It is crazy that it's release price was £1300. I had a look at it when I was in JL the other day (SM8600 model which is basically the same TV) and the picture looked great (coming from OLED owner).

Good IPS panel with excellent colours, poor local dimming (just set it to low) and excellent picture processing (gen2 alpha 7 processor), low input lag (14.5ms). Can also do Dolby vision.

Shame no HDMI 2.1, but at that price, it is hard to complain.

Free 5 year warranty is included.

Free 2 4k Blu-Ray.

Free 5 day delivery.

Use voucher code for £10 off.

And Ebuyer
Damn. This is the TV I want, but it's got to be 55. This is such a good price too. Ughhhhhhh.
120 Hz VRR, any idea anyone?
I've got the philips 50pus8204 or order but worried about motion as it's only 50hz wld this be a better option ?
Should the fact this tv doesn't have HDR 10+ put me off? There's to many standards to keep up with. Thanks

It "has a native refresh rate of 120Hz. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to support any of the variable refresh rate technologies, including FreeSync or the HDMI 2.1 VRR format."

I think it depends on what content you watch. If you watch lots of Netflix then Doby Vision is better having over HDR10+.

Thanks for that it literally ticked every box for me. Everything I use is supported by DV except for nvidia shield which i planned to move to another tv anyway and use a chromecast ultra and apple tv in place of it. Thanks for that.

If you don't need over wide viewing angles (over 30 degrees from center) then I would look at other TVs.

All depends on budget you could spend £300 or £1000, buying a TV is a bit of a minefield IMO. Try having a look at this avforums post for some recommendations. Hisense looks to be a good "budget brand" that is producing good TVs to challenges the main manufacturers. They get good mentions and heat on here as do Samsung TVs.

First I would work out budget, size and any must have features you want to help narrow it down.

On the op's description and prc website it says 5 years.

Does anyone know what 4k blurays are available? I've ordered this tv and its coming Thursday but there's no mention of the blurays.

Don't forget topcashback 3.45 percent
