Once you factor in the 5 year guarantee & 15% Quidco I think it's a great price for an excellent TV.

Just about to buy this - where have you seen it cheaper? Quidco not guaranteed etc..
Richer Sounds £599 and I think Dabs was just over £600

I managed to get the £399 deal for the 50" hisense 4k which i'm going to put in the bedroom....it will be interesting to compare the two and see if the LG was worth the extra cash!

No, sorry, I may have given duff information, I just did a quick & dirty search on the model number on HUKD to check that it hadn't already been posted. So that makes this an even better deal
bought one in September great tv only regret is the price now :'(
Any thoughts on this one compared to the Samsung UE50JU6800 that's £688 with the 5 year warranty? I really don't think the inch difference will bother me (ooh er) but I'm a bit lost when it comes to TV's.

The Sammy doesn't have 3D, I don't know if that's important to you
Could someone who has this TV please confirm the how far the feet of the stand are apart. Just need to check it will fit on our TV table. Thanks
looks like the stand attached to the TV is almost the whole length of the Tv ( as opposed to being in the centre- anyone know what length my glass stand needs to be to fit this ?
Repost other than the quidco.

If you mean the one from Wednesday's email, it's the 49 UF690V, not the 850:

No way you can add the Quidco as a discount. Its pot luck. It's Currys i.e nightmare!
hot hot price

what i h8 is the stupid leg stands they seem to be doing recently wont fit my tv spot as the legs are over the edge where it would sit...... why cant they just have a centre stand or one long solid stand, would love to know who came up with these stupid leg ideas that means you need a tv stand the length of how far the legs are which is the entire tv in most cases long.
Is there any way to get quidco on this by using click and collect as this only seems to reserve it rather than pay for it?

I think you would only get 1% quidco doing it that way
Quidco tracks @ price less vat....
only giving 1% @ quidco?

That's why I went with a Samsung curved job; the curved stand is much shorter than the TV width, and actually very flattering.

Which would you go for out of lg55uf850v or lg49uf850 and why. I went into currys today to grab a black Friday barging but could not decide the two size. Is the lg55 UF850V worth the extra £ 200 for the for 5he extra 6 iniches over the lg49uf850v.The room it will be going in is 11 by 9 feet.

How true is it that 55 inches should be the minimum to enjoy.

Went in and bought one today. I've waited for the price to drop on this set for about 2 months. Having had plasma previously the picture on this set is amazing. The smart features don't lag at all and the 3D is better than I thought it would be.

Mines tracking at 1% :-(
I got two links when I typed in the model number in quidco, one gives 16% and one is 1%. But it says it's £849. I have no idea on how this quidco stuff works, anyone able to help me out? I'm wanting to buy the TV for £551. Thanks!

You log into Quidco, type Currys in the search box, click on the link then search the currys website for the model number and add it to your basket. Make sure you're not running ad-blocking software on your browser (I use Internet Explorer/Edge browser solely for these things!).

Yeah the 15% has been removed looking at the available offers now. Think all we're getting is 1 % no matter what now
When I checked quidco mines tracking at 1% too but theres a message saying "Purchases from this retailer may initially track lower than expected. Don't worry, the cashback amount will be updated before it's confirmed."
So hopefully it'll go up to the 13/15% later?

Did not see the 13% option, I think you maybe right here, time will tell I guess. Either way I'll be watching a kickass new tv next Saturday

Depends on the size of your living room, 49" is good for a couple of metres away viewing.
