Absolutely stunning TV. Use code TVS10 to get 10% off

HDR10 (8 or 10 - still not absolutely sure, some reviews say defo 10).
Dolby Vision - one of only a small number of TVs to have this as well
PMR - 2,500
Refresh Rate - 120hz
800 nits - very close to 1,000 needed for certified UHD
Magic remote - which is awesome - trust me

The picture quality on this TV when calibrated is absolutely exceptional. Tried some 4k from you Tube and amazon Prime and am astounded how good it really is. I'm very pleased, as you can tell.

If you're looking for a reasonable size screen, and don't want to pay a lot of extra money for certified UHD, this could be the one for you. I'm sure the 55 wouldn't be too much more expensive as well. Thanks

Voted hot.

Been cheaper a few days back posted for 476 quid. however this seems to be the cheapest available right now.

The closest equivalent (used in the very loosest sense of the word) is £429 for a start. I'm very happy to pay an extra 80 quid for this LG. In almost every area it's a better TV. Picture handling, refresh rates, processing speed and picture quality will undoubtedly be much better than the Polaroid. if you want a big screen I'm sure there are even cheaper makes and models available. Each to their own. I'm letting people know what the best price for this TV is at this moment and letting them know that, in my opinion, it is a fantastic TV for the money.

Quality. That's why.
I've had this for a couple of weeks now, it's a brilliant TV, the picture quality is immense, would recommend it
Good TV but it took me a while to find the right settings to get a decent picture. Out the box, the picture is pretty poor due to the TV's inability to upscale efficiently.

Done. Although I think it was already quite clear
68 dearer at electrical discount UK but 5year warranty. I would not buy a LG without a 5year warranty not bashing LG as I own oled

Yeah it is. I purchased the 850 yesterday, arrives tomorrow. Can't wait.
Wanted the 850 for 3d but went for this at £404 when amazon had 20% off warehouse items. Excellent tv for family room viewing. Reviews says blacks could be a bit better but unless you watch in a pitch black room then you wont notice.

Make an account on AO.com and get £20 off on first order. But their refund policy sucks
been looking for a tv for the last 2 weeks and been reading reviews on the lg. My brother is TV mad so said what model to get and he said this tv. Looked for best price and came across a Seller refurbished LG 49UH850V 49" SUHD 3D Smart 4K for £350 so ordered it and delivery Thursday. Must be better than my good old plasma that I have got now.
I've just purchased the 650V - is there much difference between the 2 ?
LG Page states:

Color Depth :\x09Billion Rich Colors

So i would assume this is a 10bit screen... great value!

Yawn. Another copy and paste troll.
I have this TV and am not sure where the OP got the specs from? It has a 120hz panel and not 200hz the 200hz model is the top of the range 950v it is nowhere near 800nits LG confirmed it's 500nits. Overall it's a good mid range TV but does have bad banding with the local dimming switched on, switch it off and you need to get a good panel or you will have major light bleed. Daytime viewing is very good watch at night in a low light room and it all goes to pot
I have the LG49UF850V.... not sure what the difference is between the two but got me looking to see if this could be an upgrade! Love the LG brand, strayed away once and regretted it so happy to be back with a few LG TVs now.
Price seems fair for this one on offer, but not a steal.... and again it even has me looking!!! Must resist

Yes return it as it's a fake RGBW 4K TV.

There would be no point in the upgrade as your TV has a better dimming system. The 770v does have webos3 where you are on 2 but not a reason to spend this amount of money. Save up and wait for next year's models.

I stand corrected and have changed refresh rate to 120hz. Apologies if i misled anyone.
However, the 800 nits was confirmed to Richer Sounds by LG direct. Was on A/V forums. I don't have any way of testing. But all I can say is the picture quality is fantastic. Been watching uhd programmes tonight and this TV is the bees knees

yes the picture is good but try watching the game of thrones or anything that involves dark images you will see the severe light banding, There are plenty of professional reviews that confirm this problem. LG confirmed the 500 nits brightness to me so i cannot argue this point as i do not know 100% but here has a different figure again displayspecifications.com/en/…423

Thanks for the comment, appreciated - will hang fire for now and wait until something much better out.... maybe slightly bigger as well whilst I'm at it
Also have this TV, very impressed with it. Xbox one S sees it as uhd capable. Built in apps are good as well.

Correct.

Can't vote hot on this at the minute though. Price went up recently which will be due to a controllable factor. Will dip again soon to around £500. Just waiting for that bite point.
bought mine a several weeks ago, stunning picture. Watched Mad Max in 4K
Got mine delivered yesterday. Still getting use to it but impressed so far. The price had went upto £579 but the code still works.

What sort of warranty does amazon warehouse offer? do they have 20% off often as it's currently at £443
Got this tv about a month ago, generally excellent. But light bleed on Amazon and Netflix app playback is frustrating at times (still playing with settings to minimise though). Not having youtube app was also a surprise.
