Bloody hell! they've been around that long?

Littlewoods -->LX Direct-->Very. They have been round for much longer. I remember looking at the bra and underwear section when I was a kid (pre internet).

RGBW panel, so not proper 4K anyway...

What exactly are you expecting for 359. If you want proper 4k HDR tv you won't be looking at the bottom end of the market
Great company, never had a problem

About what I am looking for from a 4k monitor, so I'll parrot out the questions again (please forgive me):

4:4:4 RGB over HDMI support?
60hz 4k over HDMI support?

Thanks all, sorry for the annoyance.

I personally never had a single problem with them and I've been with them just under 20 years.

Got mine for £318 off amazon warehouse deals brand new but this is a very good price. Heat added
I own the previous version of this, great for telly but noticeable latency with games. Not sure if they’ve fixed this issue in this later model but worth considering

Yes and yes to your questions. Note: “Decent PC monitor. The UJ6300 has very low input lag and motion blur, so desktop use is responsive and isn’t distracting. The viewing angle is also wide enough for use from up close. However, it cannot get very bright and its RGBW pixel structure can cause fine items on-screen to not look very sharp.”

Agree. Bunch of morons.

Well the Hisense ones that often pop up are proper RGB. They're similar prices too.
Sorry, I'm not quite up to speed with 4K, what difference does RGB make and how would I know from the specs if a TV has it? i.e how would it be worded? Thanks for your help.

I think this is the key I would have sung their praises till last month as I never had an issue and love the website however recently had ordered a matress that just kept not turning up the date kept moving weeks away from the last it was changed 8 times I called probably 20 times emailed 6 times they are useless when something goes wrong I’d still be waiting if I didn’t call silentnight myself and got them to agree a speedy delivery. They hadn’t even processed my order correctly. I eventually got it 2 months after delivery that said delivered within 48 hours
I got this for £399 back in the beginning of May, it’s a decent telly, and the web TV interface works really well with their app also, no need for the remote control one switch it on. still it’s a budget TV now at the very good price have some heat

Basically an LG LCD screen with a model number under 850 (the last 3 numbers) is rgbw. They're advertised as 4k TVs but they aren't. No, I don't know own how they get away with it either. AFAIK only LG use this sneaky misleading tactic. Stick with hisense, Samsung or Sony and you'll be fine. If you're on a budget I think hisense offer the best value.

Now HDR is where it gets more complicated, but if you're spending under £800 just accept there will be limitations on what your set will do, eg it may not be bright enough to achieve HDR premium standard (again made more complicated by Sony who don't follow it), may only be 8 bit so cannot achieve the same range of colour as a 10 bit screen, or may not be able to show the different versions of HDR (think VHS Vs beta max, a lot of TVs don't support Dolby vision for example - but this is something LG will give you)

Thanks for the info there, I'm deffo looking for.my next TV to be compatible with fast moving games. Tried pubg on my 'big tv' but it feels like you're swishing around! If this is 60hz, what level.should we be looking for to make a big TV responsive to game latency?
Seems like that discount code doesn’t work anymore and also it costs £6.99 for delivery.

Very are awful. Got an ongoing dispute with them which I don’t want to spill to much about at this time as there is more to come but I think in my honest opinion they should be banned as a merchant on HUKD!

Not sure if refresh rate alone is the defining factor with the issue tbh auto upscaling etc has an effect too apparently but I’m not super technical myself haha
code will be account specific, same tv on amazon though for £399
Very are awful. I have alot of patience with online retailers but nearly 3 months to return an Xbox is atrocious. Countless phone calls and emails and eventually it took me threatening them with formal action to get things resolved.

As a owner of this tv purchased mid term last year £359 is a bargain who ever sells it. I am very happy with it only thing it does not come with is a magic remote which are about £30-40

Anyone know the input lag/response time for this?

Anybody know if LG sorted out their game mode faults that came about in a FW update? I'd be getting this and hooking up a PS4 so the last thing I want is a dire game mode.

I have a similiar model and from what i can see no they havent and everyone is complaining even oled owners. The game mode is just very dark but there are some setting you can play around with to help but i dont use it tbh. Hope that helps
