thanks but it is 49
The stand is very flimsy indeed. Would recommend you wall mount or buy another TV if you have to place on a unit.
Bought this a month ago in the Curry’s sale for £499
brilliant telly and a roasting hot price
Bought the co op Samsung 50" 6120 not realising it was only 8 bit for £345 two days ago but seeing this, that's going back!

Heat added thanks op!!

This isn't hdr10 though?

I think it is? from manufacturer:

HDR 10 + Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG). Television from the future. Advanced formatting technology enables LG TV to output both HLG and HDR 10 high dynamic range formats. Get the HDR experience, from a wider choice of sources.

Might be wrong but does this mean it's hdr10 from the description??

It is 10 bits (8 bits +FRC) whatever FRC is ?
Anyone know if this can be used as a PVR I see it only has 1 tuner for freeview and 1 for Freesat but also doesn't say if those are HD
It is Freesat Hd. Currys have this at £479. Ordered and saved £100. Happy days. Heat added8)
It's £479 at John Lewis with 5 year warranty and £479 at Richer Sounds with 6 year warranty... those make better comparisons than just 1 year from Currys at £479!

Amazon Protect for 5 years would cost £76.00 extra:

just spoke to john lewis and will not match price as amazon is online retailer only bit of a cop out really but if anyone else has better luck let us know

FRC = Frame Rate Control. It essentially tries to fake a higher colour depth by using dithering, though needless to say it's no substitute for a real 10-bit panel. But then you're not paying real 10-bit panel prices for it. Almost all current TVs under £1000 are 8-bit, because true 10-bit panels cost a lot of money.
£479 now. Expired.
Good price, not sure how I missed this!
Arrived today, going back... wasn’t impressed at all
Heart sank when I saw Hermes were the delivery agent, and true to form the panel arrived smashed. So can't comment on set, although when I looked at it in store the standard 'shop settings' are abysmal for anything other than a high def demo feed. Had a fiddle about and the picture improved dramatically by turning off all the image processing. Have to wait and see how it looks when I get to play properly.
