This or SamsungUE50RU7400?
For anyone interested here's the difference between this TV and the slightly cheaper UM7450 which is currently £349 at Curry's. Appears to be different legs and this one has a "Wide Viewing Angle".

No it will be poor viewing angel due to va screen get the ips 49 inch 55 inch for better. But this better at night.
I purchased this TV before Christmas because of reviews that mention the wide viewing angle, and very good review on Which.

I found the TV was not exceptional, and disappointing with regard to the wide viewing able (compared to my old Sharp TV). But ended up keeping it as I figured the alternatives wouldn't be any better.
Would JL price match this?
