i bought mine from amazon for £488 but delivery is due between 16-18 feb. i quickly bought the tv before the prices went up to £515

LG 50KP350 = peanuts!

LG 50PK350 = Plasma TV

Need to check the title.:)

Anyway, great TV if you neeed 50". The PJ series is normally this price so to get a PK series, (FULL 1080) for under £500 is a steal.

THIS IS ONE OF THOSE BARGAINS THAT YOU WILL WISH YOU HAD TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF AND REGRET IT LATER IF YOU DONT.

NOTHING much better will come round in the next 12 Mths, believe me.

One of the best plasmas money can buy. Check the reviews!

A realbargain at this price.

Something, although not quite sure what exactly, tells me that you are a fan of this tv?
Anyway...is this truly a bargain at this price?
What do our friends at the AV Forums site say about this tv?

Well actually i have just been on the AV forum site and the general chat about this tv is that it is ok. Maybe a bit of buzzing when a very bright picture is displayed but I cannot find any truly terrible comments.

So overall my comment would be that this is a good 50'' plasma tv for the money....heat added

I have the PJ42"

I would have upped to the PJ50" if space permitted but the PK50 would have been the one that I would have gone for if I badly wanted 1080 and could have afforded it at the time.

The blacks are very good, colours are impressive and unless you want to pay for a Panny that gives similar features (for a LOT more money) then this is without doubt the best VFM.

Good screen, dodgy retailer.

Why is it a dodgy retailer...I am on the verge of getting this??

I never follow what the people over at AVForums say when they rate TV's and other equipment, Most of them are just amateurs like you and me, and hold no professional qualifications that give them divine right to rate and criticise AV equipment..
Their reviews are no more valid than you or I could give and certainly hold no water within the industry. Although sales are a big thing with referrals from the AV website!
Some of these sites also get retainers for pushing certain brands from the manufacturers themselves.

Take what AVForums say with a pinch of salt and make your own mind up, no one can tell you what the best tv is as that is a matter of choice for the buyer
