520 for a 50" hmm not bad, but its not Full HD therefore no 1080p on this

year ago we bought a full HD 50" for £750 (well when i say we, i mean parents)
Rather pay the few extra hundred and get Full HD considering your planning on getting a big plasma your plannign to use it for HD, although i gets its alright for those who only need it for sky HD since thats 720p anyway

How much is P&P ?

600hz? hmmm

1365 x 768 is actually really good for a Plasma TV, MOST xbox 360 and PS3 titles are just 720p upscaled so your not missing anything unless you really need the 1080p for a monitor or blu ray, but you shouldnt use a plasma as a monitor because of still screens can burn in.

1080p would be good for a screen that size but the price is good.

Cant you reserve and collect at an Argos store?

WRONG! All HD transmissions in the uk via any broadcast platform are at a vertical resolution of 1080 pixels. All HD transmission are also interlaced and not progressive ie 1080i.

Can't grumble at 500 quid for a 50" plasma. Prospective owners might want to google Image Retention in relation to LG plasmas.

Voted hot.
