I have had 3 LG LED TVs One being a 55inch Smart TV and all 3 TVs The LEDs went on them after a couple of years bearing in mind I have it on eco-mode as well, so that’s cold for me
The led backlight failed on my Phillips ambilight just after five years.
Bought a set of leds from Ali Express for £15 and replaced them myself. It's a fairly simple job after watching YT videos.
Hope to get another five years out of it.

How do we order privately from this website? Without having a business?
This is what I want to know

Just to offer contrast to the previous, I have a 2016 LG LED TV and still going strong. However agree that longer John Lewis or Richer Sounds style warranty is good to have.

Personally I'm saving up for an LG OLED C2 hoping to pick up at good price in the spring when new models being released. Will probably buy from John Lewis for the option of adding burn in cover.

But for the price this looks a bit of a steal. So heat for this deal.

My 2015 LG broke, replaced in 2019 that's is still great . Another 2015 is still works good and 2018 model is dying, but unfortunately bought with 1 year warranty to save some money...

It has just 60Hz refresh rate, is that fine or is a better rate worth spending more?

Cheers op ordered to replace a sumsung with the purple patch screen issues so with that in mind I didn't want to spend to much on a new tv.hopefully LG will give better service. (edited)
