old model not worth it

It's also not 4K (gulp)

Groupon buy from EBay and sell it as their own. Not many real deals there

I think Amazon had this between £800/900 few days/weeks back a few times on lighting deals maybe just wait till it comes back

Just checked and you're spot on. It went as low as £838. Definitely would be worth waiting and getting it cheaper from Amazon instead of these jokers

Full HD = Dead now you need 4K these days with HDR

Little material in HDR and OLED still has better overall performance than crap backlight LEDs unless you pay for a FALD one which are very expensive to date..

Very good TV but has been cheaper so would hold on for it to do so again..

OLED is good but not worth 1K for Full HD

But just see how many HD Ready Tv's there are in all the top retailers at what are stupidly High prices, for what is now very old technology, they should be giving them away.

Problem is 4k feeds are'nt free - until they are (some time never?) good full HD Tvs remain worth buying.... whereas poor backlight 4k Tvs are'nt

I watch a lot of 4K content on YouTube. That's free

You just have to click the settings icon on the bottom of the video and select 2160p instead of the default 1080p

Having youtube 4k content (most likely poor quality) is not a reason to get 4k. I would want to watch films & dramas etc Terrestrial content as well in 4k. So for me a 4k TV is totally pointless and I expect for many people.

Unless you watch 4K content (very thin on the ground) or play 4K games everything else looks better on full HD than 4K. Have a look on the threads for the Samsung 7000 series and read the problems people are getting- HDR not working properly.... however, as others have said this is not a particularly good price- hoping it will get below £800.

£838.94. Check 3 Camels.

I disagree, 4K is a waste of time outside of huge TVs. While HDR could be a big deal you're looking at twice the price for a good HDR TV.

This is the best TV around for a grand - provided you can live with the low brightness.
