This is a £20 price drop from the amazon deal posted last night, lots of notes in that thread

I have gone for it at this price. I was holding out for the 4k 2016 version but I won't be able to justify the price difference. I'm fully expecting the 2016 version to eventually come down to around £1200-£1300 mark over the next few weeks, but then it will stall for at least another 12 months, in the mean time I get to enjoy a quality tv at a great price.

Yes its a good deal but only 1 year warranty? so tempted to get this....

looks like lots of scammers on Amazon now selling this TV??

I don't get you guys, how can you see this as a good deal when it's only a 1080p tv from 2015.

I suppose it you don't have any 4K content then this is as good as it gets ... for £850 it is still a bargain for some.

probably because they prefer picture quality over hype or underused features?

Yes I think the B6 will drop further in the next few months but as LG have just dropped 3D on their 2017 models I expect the 3 models that have 3D will actually see the price start creeping up the way ...

That one has gone, the cheaper one is a scam.

Amazon have put their prices up again

Perfectly said. Once you have seen oled you are sold on it.
Looks so good with next to no bezel and only 4mm thick.

I don't know whether if it would be good for FIFA specifically, but as I understand it generally there are 2 ways to benefit from the PS4 Pro's extra power.

1) If the console detects a 4k tv is connected then for compatible games such as FIFA it would render at a resolution higher than 1080p (for some rare games, possibly even 4k) and output the 4k (using upscaling "tricks" if necessary). This would of course generate a sharper image quality than the 1080p from a standard PS4.

2) If the console only detects a 1080p connected (or if you had a 4k tv and went into the PS4 Pro settings and manually changed the output to 1080p) then PS4 Pro compatible games generally act 3 ways:
2a) it would go the same way as described in (1) but would down-sample the higher than 1080p internal rendered image to the 1080p output. This is what they usually call super-sampling and would generate a slightly better quality image than from the regular standard ps4.
2b) some would give you an option to run at a higher frame rate or maybe run with higher image quality settings (better textures or shadows etc.) similar to how PC gamers could change image quality settings (Tomb Raider is a good example)
2c) some games would decide to lock the cpu to the same speed as the standard PS4 so you would not get any benefits (e.g Ezio Collection if run at 1080p)

Unfortunately, since this TV is unable to be detected as a 4k TV by the PS4 Pro you would lose out on one of the primary reasons for getting the Pro.
