Seems very cheap for an OLED, don’t know whether it’s incorrect but thought I’d share

It's cheap-ish because it's only 1080p and no HDR

Damn thats a VERY expensive 1080p. FREEZING

A 1080p, non-HDR OLED seems a pretty short sighted way to spend nearly 1100 quid...

Not 4K

this or a 4k hdr led? this all day long but if your going OLED you might aswell pay a little more on a 4k hdr oled deal

This could potentially be a good deal for someone with a very tight budget and who already has a 1080p set up with no plans to move to 4k for a next few years.

4k is still growing in popularity but HDR is still niche in my opinion. And both have very limited content available for consumption unless you are spending money upgrading your entire home theatre or gaming set-up.

If you have £300 more available then go for an LG B7, no brainer. If not and you don't care about 4k or HDR then this is a good deal.

Comparatively (B7 £1399 deals) (E7 £1499 deals) this is a shocking purchase.

But, can this set actually be bought cheaper anywhere?

It is a pity that HUKD will always have this grey area between voting hot on the basis that it's "the best deal" and voting hot on the basis that it is a "good deal". Regarding this; former, yes, latter; no.

I don't have any HDR/4k sources and sit more than 7ft from the TV (at which distance you won't notice the difference in resolution) so I would actually consider buying one of these. As buddy1976 says, better this than a 4k LCD.

However this is way too expensive. They are available for about £850 in Germany and I would expect the price to fall here as more stockists sell it.

Yep. In this context, it’s the cheapest, but not cheap enough to make it a good deal.

Not sure if you can have a very tight budget and still be spending £1100 on a tv?

Why not?

Why not?

Just by what I said, I can't see how anyone with a very tight budget could possibly be spending so much money on a TV. That's maybe just my way of thinking though.
