Get a 5Yr Warranty for just £129 with this TV PLUS Claim 3 month Sky Movies Pass and 7 Sky Sports Day Passes

Desktop url here - Was looking at TVs today in Currys - their selection are a lot more expensive than this and shop soiled. Not sure if it's good for this model. But seems good for the size and features.
Plus 24p cinema. So hopefully no Soap Opera effect in movies.

turn tri-motion etc off and you dont get the soap effect,nd turn it back on for live sports etc.

I have this TV and it is fantastic. Picture quality is top class. 3D is amazing on it. Can't fault it yet.

Seems to be gone?

Does it come with the glasses

Was going to order but gone from site.
But argos selling for £777 if that's any help.

Doesn't include magic remote though..

Bought that model from Currys a month ago. It was ex-display for £699,(actually for 660 using perkz). Great tv, loads of features just need a soundbar for beeter sound.

my dad got the 660 LG from currys

what is the replacement model?

610:1 contrast ratio and 66ms input lag. There are much better tv's for that kind of money.

I got the 55lb730v john lewis priced matched Hills Radio for £1024, with a 5 year warranty, only small problem it suffers a bit of DSE. But the 3d and the smart features are great.

Such as?

I'm quite tempted by LG TV's because of the following:
- Magic Remote,
- Passive 3D,
- "Dual Play" (for split-screen gaming on the whole screen each)
- I think the design looks good, especially the thin bezel.

I would be happy to consider what alternatives you would suggest?

Wasnt this around £600 last time

I know it's not as big a screen, but I say quality over quantity, each to their own though, enjoy whichever tv you choose

Thanks for your reply, Musician.
However, that is quite a big difference in screen size! 46" compared to 55" is not really a fair comparison, in my opinion.
The Sony is nice, but since I don't really care about input lag, I can't see it being worthy of the sacrifice in screen size.
Do you have any other suggestions?

I note that, according to your link, the equivalent 55" Sony is £1449, or almost double the price of this LG.

I don't really, I know that panasonic were the ones to get about 8 years ago. People now say Sony are the ones to get. Although I have always thought of LG and Samsung as decent makes as well. My advice would be to read as many reviews as possible and go and see the tv of your choice working. Or maybe post on one of the avforums for advice. As a fps player input lag is top of my priorities. My current mission is where to find decent calibration settings; I'm going to give avsforum.com/for…tml a try next.
One thing I do find with SONY is there are a mind blowing amount of settings which can be a little confusing.
