Isn't this £15 cheaper than previous posts? Every little helps! it seems Costco will accept returns up to 90 days even if it's been used and this would be ideal for me as I'm a bit wary about buying a large TV - current one is 37''. Also concerned about how good HD content will be, but hopefully with a top of the range processor it will be ok.

What distance will you be sitting away from the screen? The Which? website has a good guide on what screen size is best for your room. In terms of HD content there’s lots available on Netflix, including Dolby Vision (provided you opt for the £11.99 per month subscription). The picture quality is awesome - I have the B8 & I continue to be impressed.

:/ not sure. According to the LG website the big difference is the processor plus the C9 has better audio. For the price difference I’d get the C9 if I was buying now - I got the B8 because it was cheap (relatively 😁)

Nearest would be around 2.5m, but up to 4m. I'm more concerned about the quality of the upscaling of the usual terrestrial HD TV channels, but as I said I'm hoping that the top of the range processor will make this a non-issue

My B8 only has the gen 1 A7 processor & the picture is great across the board, so I’d expect the C9 to be even better. Check it out & return it to Costco in the unlikely event you’re not happy.
Looks like it’s out of stock now

Samsung q90r with cashback

Very nice! Not sure I’ll be allowed to spend more on the sound bar than the tv though 😥
I’ve just set mine up - my god it’s beautiful lol

Soundbar works out 580after cashback
I own an LG Soundbar with 4.1 channels however I will honestly say the sound quality on this tv is fantastic - my wife doesn’t impress easily and even she agreed the sound had a nice bass to it.

Ive done a mix of content on it so far since setting up and it looks fantastic
Costco is without doubt the best place to buy and expensive TV.
With all the issues of banding, clouding etc on certain models, you can happily fork out your money knowing you can thoroughly check (up to 90 days) for any issues, then just return if your not happy.
Is this TV likely to get any cheaper in January? Or is this the lowest we will see it for a while?
Curry’s currently also offering this at effectively £1234.05 (£1399 with £100 off for taking their pay within 9 months account offer and 5% cash back voucher £64.95) Voucher has to be spent in store.

You want to look into it, I believe it only supports VRR and not FreeSync or G-Sync but could appear in firmware updates.

Returned the Q90r and picked up the C9 and wow. The picture quality is something else. The qled was good but the tv had way too many bugs. Just got annoying. The quality of the c9 though.... the image just pulls you in.

Ahh I was considering the q90r because I didn't want to deal with future screen burn issues with the c9. Was the q90r that bad??

Two main issue on the Q90r. Network disconnect pop up that you had to press ‘ok’ to get rid. Wouldn’t have bothered me but frequency done my nut in. The other major problem was ARC, every 10-15min it would cut out for a second. Not what u expect on a flagship. Black level and detail is excellent but the c9 just blows it away. I watch the expanse and the space scenes on Oled are awesome. I was worried about burn in but it isn’t the main tv so I only use it for prime, Netflix and gaming.
