If you have a Morrisons More Card buy 16 x £50 (£800) John Lewis Gift Cards which will get you the maximum monthly 100,000 points you can claim, which equals £100 (20x £5 vouchers) to spend at Morrisons on food or petrol. If you use Morrisons brings it down to £699 doing it this way

Nice to see this drop below £800 again.

Been watching Blue Planet II on the BBC IPlayer in UHD/HDR on mine this week, looked great. Hopefully it is a practice run for the BBC showing the World Cup matches in these formats thru BBC Iplayer.

Richer Sounds might price match with a £10 reduction and 6 year guarantee as well?
I want the 60 incher......
This LG's equivalent to Samsungs mu7000?
Great tv at a great price. Ordered mine from JL today! Heat added

Are you sure it was the 55" version or even the 850v? I was price monitoring throughout October/November this TV and got it for £719 with discount code from Argos. Never seen any other retailer offer it any cheaper than that, before or since.

£799 before any further discounts is the cheapest I have ever seen it.
This or the 55 mu7000 Samsung?
Currys have now price matched and also offering 5 year warranty if they’re more convenient for anyone.

Don’t think this model has ever dropped below 799?

The Samsung will have much better brightness and blacks. The LG is a good tv but lacks severely in these areas making it a bad HDR candidate.

LG make good computer monitors and the OLED range is very good.

No, it wasn’t.
Does anyone know the difference between this & the LG 55SJ810V which is £749 at currys? There's a comparison chart HERE but I don't have a clue what the differences mean. I'm looking for a good 55" but not sure what to go for...

I have also submitted a price match claim. Also going through my works voucher scheme to get another 5% off the original £799, so should come to £659.

Exactly my plan, got another 3 weeks to see if something better turns up, if not I'll take JL up on the price match

I have had this TV since October and to be able to get it under £700 and a 5 year guarantee, is worth the effort imho

Yes the difference is only the wattage is higher on the 850 as I have this TV. Otherwise they are identical...
Amazon have the Samsung UE55MU8000 for an extra £50.... decisions! Lightening deal so need to think quick!
My issue is LG always been great, moved to both Sony & Samsung in the past only to be disappointed and then move back to LG. However this Samsung on offer seems a great deal.... what to do!?!

The edging is different also the 850v has a frameless design rather than a bezel on the 810v and it is 2.2 sound 40w rather than 2.0 20w on the 810v for sound. Whether you would notice the differences though is for you to decide.

This will be going down to £38.99 very soon because it's Lucky Goldstar!
Sony have already shown everyone what can be done with Lucky Goldstar panels with the A1 and yes I know I'm talking OLED there but Lucky Goldstar is Lucky Goldstar which equates to quintessentially two bob star so this Lucky Goldstar set will be going down to under 40 quid in no time at all, just be patient

Most probably expect a domino effect
2018 models were launched just yesterday,in shops late February.
New features:

LG’s new 4K OLED and Super UHD TVs add Google Assistant, Alexa, and an even better picture.
