The big question now is, pay extra for FALD or just wait for the superior Mini LED?

Or option 3, get OLED now
I haven’t been impressed with OLED compared to a good LCD. I have the B8 and B9, but they have the same issue of black clipping and the uniformity is off, especially in greys. My Apple Watch and Nokia 9 had the same OLED issue in the greys where one side was brighter than the other.

My favourite was my QLED Samsung, but I picked it up to put it on the wall and the screen broke Why did they have to make it so thin?

Haven't noticed any issues with my E9 in regards to uniformity or clipping, I would find it difficult to go back to a QLED now.

They call it local dimming, but it's useless. Theres about 8 zones running vertically across the screen, and it's frankly pathetic and should never be enabled. Loving my oled now after having 2 lgs with lighting issues
