You probably wouldn't need a 5 year warranty with a mid range LG TV. Mine lasted 5 years and one week with extreme use. A good 12 hours every day and 15 hours a day for the last 6 months. The only thing likely to fail in the time is one or more of the LEDs and they are really easy to replace if you are handy with a screwdriver. Costs about £60 for a 50”. I repaired my daughter's just over a year ago. Same model TV, LG LB650V and hers had been running about 14 hours a day. It takes a good couple of hours to do which is why people don't bother having them repaired. People don't want to spend £150 on say a 3 or 4 year old TV when you can get a decent set now for about £500 in a 49" but to repair yourself for around £60 gives you at least another couple of years before you need to replace it. I could have just replaced two of the strips which were faulty but I changed the full array.

Decreasing the backlight level down from 100 will prolong the life of the LEDs. Despite what people say they do burn out and have a lifespan and the brighter they are, they quicker they will burn out.
Is this HDMI 2.1?
Thanks
