why because of the tax dodging? Sorry I pay enough tax.. would much rather have a bargain
Was just looking at this TV at 'Very', £764 with one year warranty.
Can't see anything about 5 year warranty. At least not on the mobile site...

Better to get a John Lewis price match if they have this model.

The family were only banned because they were one the 'same' account. With Prime you can add family members too. I saw the programme and Amazon gave no real explanation

no they weren't, if you are hard of hearing I am sure iplayer does closed caption so you can read the words instead. 2 Different accounts entirely same address

They haven't its a square trade warranty, so good luck in the future!

LG Aftercare Service and Square Trade Warranty, couldn't ask for 2 of the worst possible services together

Seems a decent deal. I've read it's not great for gaming though. Which means "I'm out.".

Amazon said:

“Our goal is to deliver the best experience for the millions of customers who shop with us. In a tiny fraction of cases, we are forced to close accounts where we identify extreme account abuse. This decision is only taken after we have reviewed the account carefully and tried to work with the customer over an extended time period to resolve any issues.”

Thanks for the heads up on the iPlayer subtitles. After watching Watchdog again just now, they clearly say that both accounts were "linked" (at the same address) and that is why the other account was blocked. (46:39).
Sorry if my original post was unclear.

I got a warning about a year ago for returning too many items (3 different products.. one of the products being sent back about 4 times due to faults)
It said if i continue my account will get blocked/ closed... I rarely buy stuff from them any more.. not like they care anyway
I had a similar thing. I told them to stop sending me faulty items.

I paid £1099 only 4 months ago. Great TV gutted now thou!

Similar here, I paid 1024 from Richer Sounds. Not too fussed, bit better customer service than with Amazon. Cracking TV though and great price.

I've had no issues gaming on this TV. Picture is perfect with no blur.

I read somewhere that somebody had an issue with lag whilst gaming. Think it was on av forums.

So you would recommend for gaming then?
Great TV. But only a similar price to everywhere & not the best warranty. £849 at Richer Sounds with a 6 year warranty.

No motion blur the issue reported is input lag, but only an issue if your competitive. You can get this under 60ms but with processing on its over 100ms eek.

I went out to currys/pc world to compare TVs. I found the Samsung 55ju6400 my fav (excluding the 9800 which was way out of budget but looked the nuts) only downside was no judder free 24p but we use sky hd or internet based services for HD content. The hard part comparing sets was that they are not optimally setup, the sony sets all seemed dim. The LG 770v looked great but we just preferred the Samsung.
Some reviews about the actual TV would be nice instead of all the bickering about warranties and which company to buy from.
I'm not a gamer but I watch a lot of sport how does this set handle fast panning pictures like footy and cricket etc? My current 5 year old lg lcd is awful with motion!

Sorry, I've just noticed these comments.

I can't see you having any problems on it whilst gaming. It's actually too big for me, I prefer to game on a 42", I just prefer sitting a little closer for some reason.

I would say I am very competitive and there is no noticeable input lag at all? I play a wide range of games and have no issues at all with lag. Well, not lag on the TV's part anyway, Internet lag however, is a whole different ball game!
