I have the 60" model.
Very pleased with it, but one minor issue is that the blacks are a little washed out if you're the kind to enjoy movies in a dimly lit room. There is local dimming, but in the form of around 8 vertical sections in bands from top to bottom, so it does become a bit of a distraction, but it's better than 100% back light all of the time.

Web OS3 is superb with 4k netflix and Amazon prime built in, and faster than an actual fire stick.

Nice...

Ive not bought a tv in a couple of years so a little confused on the HDR minefield.
Intend to get a PS4 pro for bedroom and a new 4K tv.
Everyone goes on about 10bit HDR, can anyone tell me if this ticks that box.
Thanks

I wouldn't worry too much, this will be obsolete before you get a chance to properly use those features!
Particularly true if you 'need' a new tv every few years. How long do people keep TVs?

This is 8bit HDR so not true/full HDR.

Also to the comment above I've had my current Samsung PS51D550 for over 5 years now and still struggling to find a new one that will be more than marginally better at a decent price.
My main options are OLED which is too expensive at present. Likewise although 4k appeals to me for films there just isn't the content at the moment.

I'd guess as these have feet they are manufactured for lg.

I just buy one when the old one dies.

6 year old panasonic 50" plasma in the bedroom didnt wake up last week.
Was devastated.
I wanted to bury it at back of garden but she would have none of it. We compromised on a few drinks and memorial service.

I have no idea why you seem to think all LG sets with 'feet' for stands are not made by LG!

This is an LG Display panel.

As far as I know, as only LG are doing the 'fake' 4K with RGBW panel layout, all of their 2016 4K 6xx series are LG Display panels.

Can anyone tell me whether this or the Hisense 7000 series is better?

There's a known fault, grans tv suffered too though was fixed with a replacement part(cost £10.18). Tesco had already sent me £120 to cover the repair cost(tv was 2.5yo 50" Panasonic plasma).
