Amazing deal. If I hadn't already bought a tv I would be straight on this

This is incredible for the money. we brought ours for £985 only 3 months ago.

Can the feet be moved closer in?

Looks like a great deal although from the few reviews i can find some people are not happy with the picture?, Also no info in terms of gaming

Not the best TV, but for the money OK. IPS so blacks won't be great, RGBW so 'fake 4K' and high input lag so not the best gaming option either. For general viewing it'll be fine though, providing you don't get one with clouding or DSE, as many of these LG IPS panels seem to suffer from.

Would be keen to hear what you would consider as a decent tv.... Pretty lost with all this HDR,UHD 8 bit 10 bit its all a bit confusing

Well there's an argument that all TV's are decent... it entirely depends what you will be viewing and your viewing conditions (bright room, natural light, dark etc.) and a realistic understanding of what the limitations of certain panel tech is. You won't get the full HDR experience on an 8-bit panel for a start... they just don't meet the requirements for the HDR standard, so the resulting image just won't have the colour depth and may have contoured gradients. LG also use RGBW panels in many of their '4K' sets, which you can read more about HERE.

Im using a 10 year old LG plasma 1080p tv at the moment. Will pretty much any 4K tv look better than this? Along as i can see a notable improvement in picture quality watching TV shows and films on netflix, kodi etc... along with watching Sport (Ice hockey & footie) are 4Ks good with motion? hockey is a fast paced sport so its quite hard to watch on my current tv.

I don't know your TV, but I would highly recommend you check out the AV Forums website and register on their forums. There are a lot of very knowledgeable folk over there who will be able to give you some friendly and informative advice as to the best way to go.
