Thought I would generously share this offer since AO has just reduced this TV by £30 but I believe you can use the discount code 30OFF55TV which will give you another £30 off for this deal price. Also you can get further 1% cashback from either TCB or Quidco

Tempted! Anyone own this TV please?
I have the 49". They're great sets, very decent picture quality and HDR if you have a suitable source. Think I paid £429 for the smaller unit half a year ago.
What’s this like compared to the 55” hisense from tj Hughes a few days ago. I’ve ordered one and was thinking about cancelling it.

Looking for a 55" 4k.. really want the Samsung 55mu7070 is there a massive difference? I don't have 4k Sky so its just streaming I need it for and might get a 4k blueray player
I've got the 49"
Positive-sound is amazing!
Negative-im not impressed with the picture, can't say it's any better than the 10 yr plasma Samsung it replaced. However, we googled best picture settings and is now not that bad

I picked up for £429 from Amazon in the New Year sale. Great tv although I think Samsungs just shade it for quality. Does what it says on the tin and has a great smart interface. Had to spend an extra £2 a month on Netflix to take advantage of the UHD HDR 4K capabilities!

Thanks so much! Would you say that the whole 4K "thing" has only been relevant to Netflix then? I am a real newbie to this....and don't know whether it is a worthwhile upgrade from my 5 year old LG, 49" HD tv?

Same here. I've got a 5yo Samsung 3d smart TV but I don't think there's enough 4k content around at the moment to justify an upgrade.. In saying that, I'd love to get an LG B7 Oled

Yeah, the surprising thing for me is that there aren't movies available to stream on 4K on Netflix - so really just Netflix and Amazon series and a few made-for-TV movies. I believe Sky Q has Ultra HD movies and sport but don't know whether this is just some content. In my opinion, unless you're sitting close to the TV, it's not THAT much better than 1080 HD - probably would be on bigger sizes though.. Finally worth mentioning the sound is excellent on this TV - packs a punch without any distortion.
