RGBW.*Back to my corner.

And for this price what are you expecting exactly?
I'm tempted to replace my 50" Panny plasma, I reckon with the powered savings alone this bad boy would pay for itself within 2 years.

I was expecting RGBW. It's a cheap LG TV.

Ah ok, sorry for the confusion
Heat added, even though you're a Blade. UTO and Merry Xmas to ya!
I got this at this price a while ago, there should be more stores with this offer. Picture is good for the price, so I think it's a good deal.

Bargain for a 10 bit. Anyone know if this is nationwide?

I was thinking this with my old 10 year old Hitachi plasma.

You can really feel the heat coming out the top when it's been on for a while.

Might have to try the power meter plug thing I bought for the tumbler dryer a while ago on it to see.

Will JL price match?

Doesn't matter that it's 10 Bit. It's RGBW.

"
Yes, it can resolve 3840 pixels horizontally and 2160 pixels vertically (though not both at the same time), but that’s beside the point. The diluting effect of the additional white subpixel damages colour fidelity irreparably: by trying to shoehorn RGB video signals into an RGBW matrix, colour information is lost"

" An RGBW LED LCD TV may be cheaper, but you’ll be paying the ultimate price in the form of compromised picture quality."

Wait till winter is over. Your Plasma TV also work s as a heater so not all waste. 😁. Also this not 4k , this is 75 percent pixels/ RGBW in 4k so poor picture quality.

Im after a new TV and dont know much about them, but currys have some HD 4K samsung with 1500PQI and 1600PQI and I really like the picture motion on those TV’s. Is this comparable to those?

Any TV experts out there?

Yes we all warm ourselves round the TV on the cold winter nights instead of a real fire.

I'll prob wait until this TV fails before getting a new one as hate to throw anything away (although some of these deals are really tempting). Hopefully the OLED will go down in price a lot more before then.
Wouldn’t it be great if we all post what tv we have in our home, say how great we think it is, then have people (that really know) pick it apart and tell us all how rubbish it really is.

I’d short listed this tv just last night. That price blasts argos out of the water. Nice.

Turns out it doesn’t as it’s a certified UHD screen so it won’t be RGBW.

Instore only I went yesterday still loads left
I bought this on Argos eBay with the 20% eBay discount and I gotta say I am not too impressed. My 7yr old Hitachi 42 inch seems to have a better / richer colour. I have tried many settings to try to get a good pic.
