sees a good price
Can't see it being a good buy for the money... I know better panels exist... But how can LG justify a TV at that price then charge £1000 for a different model... 4k is 4k right whatever the price?
Better model here with 6 years warranty richersounds.com/tv-…tml for only £50 more.

Don't waste your money on this TV no matter how it is pitched as a deal.

🔥 nice spot Switchy

I like the added bonus of the Spotify premium

Way cheaper than what my folks have just forked out for their 55” TV

To be fair, there isn't a massive difference between the two TV's. They use the same panel. The 7000 just misses out on a few extra features (Bluetooth, Voice Assistant support, magic remote support), and has a different stand design.

Some people might prefer to keep the £50 if the extra features aren't required.

Or spend the extra £50 and have more features and 5 years extra warranty you mean.

The extra £50 may be too much for someone who just wants a cheap TV.

It's good to have a choice.

Personally I wouldn't go for a cheap LG either way.

That's kind of ridiculous, your comparing this deal to £1000 tvs are they way better yes but they also cost 3 times the cost . It's like comparing a ford to a Ferrari both will get you where your going .
It's a good deal ,personaly I would go for a higher model but that depends on what you want and budget
G
could you sell the spotify on ebay ?

The TV i posted the link to in my other comment above is £50 more not £1000 not sure where you got that figure from? The difference in money between a Ford and Ferrari is not £50

Out of interest, how much is the ps5 purported to be?

Nobody can be sure but I'm guessing around £399 but I'm hoping £350 ish. But we will have to wait and see.

I agree that the warranty would be worth it but it's such a small jump in model no that it will probably have pretty much the same features.
I was more refering to the user you posted who posts good TV deals , a quick scroll through there deals showed that although very good deals they were a completely different market as they were all around 1k.
I did slightly agree with you that this is a low end TV and not what you'd want if your invested in high end tech , but it will do fine for most users

I would say no less than £700. Don't know why people expect £400.
It will have RTX2070 + Ryzen 3600 performance.
RTX2070 alone is £400.

Me neither, they look good in the marketing material but in person the IPS panel really looks bad with lack of contrast and the 1cm air gap between front glass causes blurriness and a very odd shadow around the edges. Its such a shame because they have such great features like DTS decoding and HomeKit which you can't get on Samsung despite having their better looking VA panels and no air gap.

LG nanocell are more comparable to Samsung/Sony displays but quite expensive
