This is an MVA panel, not IPS. Can anyone tell me if it's RGBW or proper RGB 4k?

EDIT: To save anyone having to look for me I just found the information.

It is a proper RGB 4k panel with good blacks. the 8 bit HDR does let it down though

Can anyone suggest a good tv at this price range with a 49 inch screen? 55 would be acceptable but id rather not compromise the quality of the screen for a larger screen. I'd assume a 10 bit panel is way put of my price range.
Is this the same one that was £550ish at Argos recently?

your never going to get at least for a few years yet a true 10 Bit panel at this price, This TV does not have HDR but a software HDR Mode which is useless as the panel does not get anywhere bright enough, it does have fantastic HD and 4K pictures and very good blacks for a tv in this price range. any questions ask away as i own one.

So do you recommend to buy this for £550. Not bothered about HDR as such as long as I can watch Sky sports in 4k and HD quality. which one is better this or samsung UE55MU6100?

I had the Samsung 55KU6020 and this TV is much better as it has freesat HD built in and Bluetooth, This picture quality is very good and i would recommend it in this price range, very well put together, the only downside for me is the cheap feeling remote but works great. HD and 4K look fantastic but does not meet HDR specs of 1000 Nits, A very watchable TV overall.
