RGBW panel = fake 4K

So fake 4k and fake HDR?
10 bit?

10 bit?

"Officially" 10 bit... but it's actually 8 bit (+ FRC) according to this:

I wasn't aware this was a RGBW panel until I read the above specs.

ALL LG 6 series TVs are RGBW (or fake 4k, as some people prefer to call it), but look at the price, it's 1080p money!

If you want 'full fat', go for their 7, 8 or 9 series TVs, which cost more of course.

A hell of a lot of TV for the price, good find OP, heat added.

No it's a 6 series, LGs entry level UHD range.

Not true... 58uh635v for around £600 after code at argos is proper 4K, so paying £700 for non 4K panel is really bad deal
Looks like a model that is 2-3 years old if not more.

I must admit to being surprised to learn that there is an exception in the 6 series range, but when all is said and done that is still a budget model, so won't deliver high end performance.

I still think this is a great price for a top brand, large size TV, with a long warranty.
