Go for panasonic dx902 if you can l
Pick one up 2nd hand. Best LED ever made in my opinion.

Mosty of those reviews look related to a different model.

I agree not a great tv for most needs, but mayl suit someone if they only watch in the light and need wide viewing angles

Not one for me though

Do you think that's because the 8600 has edge dimming rather than full array?

Agreed, but not the only place regarding these issues. This SM9000 didn’t fair too well on digital trends review either. As you say, might suit someone but best to pass this up and spend on a better TV.
Decent TV but in this price range I'd lose 10" and get a B9 OLED for an extra £100.

I ordered the SM9010 which will be delivered this evening. The issues from the SM9000 have they been fixed for the SM9010 by any chance. Hope I didn’t make a mistake going with the LG TV

Same series so will be the same. It suffers from poor black levels and poor local dimming.

QLED would have been a better buy, better blacks but then you dont get hdmi 2.1 (which isnt really relevant yet anyway) but also not as good viewing angles. So it all depends what you need/want.

I'm not impressed with LG for my own reasons and shocking customer service with my OLED issues. I looked at the Nanocell to replace the OLED but too many issues so steered well clear in the end.

Things on your side. Richersounds, that's a positive! Price seems good. Viewing angles good on LG depending on your home setup.

See here which may help: tvfindr.com/lg-…ed/

Personally, I would have gone Samsung Q70R BUT - See what it's like when you get it. You might love it? If not, then use your 30 days if it's really that bad.

What issues did you have with oled? Recommendations on best TV?

What issues did you have with oled? Recommendations on best TV?

Long story..... sorry. So VERY short version:

Missing magic remote
Screen uniformity issues (looks like screen burn)
Died completely after 10 months and had all its guts replaced.
LG dont care, worst customer service ever, legal was next course and so on.......
Richer sounds now handling.

Best TV isn’t that simple. OLED is great but has flaws. QLED is great, but has flaws. How much do you have? How much is the best worth to you? Will the TV sit in a bright or dark room? Viewed head on or from the side?
This TV is listed as one of the best buys 65"

How have you got on with it bullet9t9?
I've had mine 6 days. Thinking of upgrading
Picture is very good, but occasion of blooming that do my head in. Also, some scenes look like it's almost foggy..... thinking that may be the source rather than an issue with the tv...

Received the TV yesterday and I’m very impressed with it. Tested out Disney plus and Netflix 4k very happy with it, especially the price I paid
I got the same deal as you. 4k stuff does look stunning, and the build quality is very good. Functionality too is excellent. Such a mix bag of reviews on it though....
