The B9 and C9 both use the same panel, but C9 has faster processer. So the C9 will win. B9 and C9 are both hdmi 2.1 but only C9 and above can do 120hz 4k HDR as the B9 processor is too slow which is why the hdmi 2.1 isn't really advertised as its not full spec. LG confirmed this on their own forum

You got me there
That is a great price. The Sky deal I got with my e9 on Black Friday was free for £18 months & included Sky Q multi room & will cost me £42 a month if I continue it. Irony is you cannot get UHD programmes unless you pay extra for box set add on or cinema. Got Amazon Prime which has uhd content & have taken a Netflix free month trial out as it seems to have most UHD content.

Really? You think that looks reputable? Scrambled to find that one.

C9 is technically better and can not be bested by the B9
Not a lot of articles that compare the 2 (I was looking last night when Costco released their offer) so was a genuine question as to which is better (if any / much difference) and those I did read rated the B set.

As this is £150 more than the Costco deal but Costco has 5 year warranty not sure which is the better deal of the two?

out of interest what’s technically better for the C over the B?

The C better retains details in darker scenes. Confirmed HDMI 2.1 4K@120Hz (not sure on the latest for the B9). Brighter in 10% window. Latest LG processor so will get updates quicker generally.

I read the LG forum that said it didn't support 120hz but another post a month ago says it does amp.reddit.com/r/O…21/ so now I don't really know.

The way I see it is, if you would like the extra year warranty then you are effectively paying £150 for it. £150 for just a years extra cover does not offer value IMO, so I opted for the cheaper option with 5 years cover and take my chances

Thanks for letting us know
Price matched with Richer sounds for 6 year warranty and got extra £20 off, so £1,729.00. I doubt you will get this tv much cheaper for a few months (until the next models come out in the summer).
It's now back to £1849

Ah... Good point! I couldn't figure out where to put the discount code (and thought that it had been removed). Thanks.

£1650 - or quite a bit less for those combining work discounts etc. I think RGB and PRC had sub £1700 deals on, idk about the rest. An extra hundred to buy now isn't bad although I expected more from boxing day sales tbh - bah humbug

Correct RGB had it for 1649 for a few hours, then it went to 1699 that lasted about a day.

Which is the point in black Friday. Does something have to beat black Friday to be a deal from hereon in?
I was wondering if ‘Currys’ price match? If so I can can get this for £1644 through works discount (not Currys).

Currys says they don't match trade discount, not sure if employee programme benifits come under that currys.co.uk/gbu…tml
Trying to get richer sounds to price match but shipping costs to northern Ireland need to taken into account. Apparently can be up to 150 which rules out the discount from the code. I can appreciate the rationale but excuse me while I give off re the difference being made here
Is code not working for anyone else?
