Really good price for a respected model in reviews etc.
Use ode LSTV200A to bring ticket price down £200.
The code will work for (some) sets over £2000 (or bundled ones to bring it over) the threshold.
Amazing to consider these sets have dropped by nearly one and a half grand since released only a few months ago.

Hot Hot Hot. So tempted. How long before it hits £2500.
55" or 65" don't know which one ?

I have 50" and messaured 65" with tape measure and it's huge
Here's a question, If I buy a bundle which allows me to use this code, then return the bundled item (HDMI cable) will I get a refund and I can still get it at the reduced price with the voucher?

I have a 55" at the moment. I went into currys and saw them side by side, There is a huge difference between 55 and 65
You will be surprised how soon you get use to it if your room can accommodate it..

Yes. Just take the unwanted i.e. HDMI cable to store and get that back too.

Yup, about ten inches

55" is plenty big enough for my small(ish) room. 65" in a large room must look great though.
Hot price. Just do your research online and don't expect any sound advice from Curry's staff. Went in Milton Keynes store a couple of days ago and asked about HDR format support and their faces glazed over. Absolute joke

And people complained about the new iPhone costing over £1000?

Probably because this upper tier 65" TV is not many times more than that of other sets but is in fact cheaper - unlike the iPhone.

Actually it's pretty much exactly the same. A 65" budget TV would be in the region of £500-600.

an iPhone 8 plus is the flagship phone but u can get budget Chinesesmartphones around £100 that will be nowhere near as good.

It will be on the wall where my old 50"

The one main sticking point is the other half
I said I might get 65 " and she got me with the typical wife comments as you can imagine

No. The OLED is highly spec'd and outperforms similarly and higher priced sets as well as budget models.

Tell her she'll love her stuff bigger, clearer and easier to see and read quizzes captions etc. And, remember when we got the 50", you thought that'd be too big my angel?!
After doing so research it seems that lg oled tvs seem to have a burn in issue that lg will not cover. I think I will wait for the price drop more and tech to get better

Every tv you buy will have some issue and the burn in isn't in all sets but these can be luck of the draw sometimes

If you can fit it in your room, and afford the extra cash, go with the 65" - the first time firing it up after coming from a 50" TV is simply mind-blowingly awesome! :-)
65" OLED's are more prone to problems than the 55" ones. Do your research.... Cracking price though.
The fact it has dropped so much in price makes me wonder how much value there is in these top end tv's.
I have a budget 65" tv but like the look of oled screens.
Don't scrimp on screen size , just take a look at a 32" set.
£2500 is a reasonable value for this TV.
Has always been just under 3k since release and I would like to meet a customer who paid the launch price of £3899 as I'm sure I have something that you would like to purchase from me

Like buying a high litre Merc, high end TVs drop like crazy! - my B6 was £2700 at launch, picked it up for £1200 9 months later.
Dang that's a really good deal! I wonder if I should bite or hold out until black Friday. I read somewhere on a forum it may drop to £2500.

Tricky one. On the one hand it may have more BF sales and on the other - this being the UK and can be naff for higher ticket price stuff - it may be the same with £200 or so off like now. Guess it depends how much you want/need a set. There'll no doubt be some smaller stores offering a bit more but I'd stick with Currys /John Lewis / Richer Sounds in case you need a return.
Holding out for £2500, fingers crossed for black Friday.
prices have all shot up again on the 65 and 55 and most of the codes have stopped working. Is this the increase before the blackfriday decrease starting ? or will they just release new codes later today?
I'm still deciding whether to go for 55 or 65 and not in a rush as I need the TV around December time. Decisions as it's grand difference will I be satisfied with 55 on the wall.

I had the same dilemma. I decided in the end that I'd regret only getting the 55" every time I looked at it, so I ordered the 65"

The Currys sale ended yesterday, so prices back to normal and codes expired I believe.

Purchased a c7 on the same day from richer sounds for 2750 after haggling. This being £100 less is slightly annoying now, so can only imagine how annoyed ill get seeing it sub 2500 come black friday quality tv though btw. Would recommend c7 over b7 simply because the all black frame in the dark and pretty much edge to edge picture looks so much better!
Best price right now for the 55 inch is from the Co Op I believe = £1779 after the code.

I move into my new house in the next couple of weeks. The next time it drops I think I will pull the trigger. Xbox One X pre ordered today too!

I've got it wall mounted now and all set up. I'm really pleased with the wall mount. It's quite small but very strong. I wall mounted it using four RigiFix bolts that fix into the wall behind the plasterboard. It's definitely not going anywhere
