Fab price and as recommended over in my LG 65" for £699 thread, the next best panel until you move over to qLED!

True, as in real 10bit 120Hz Panel, with a massive 1400ish nits... if you can afford one at this price, well worth it
How many nits make a noot ? and on a more serious note what is 'Smart FALD' Thanks
Full Array Local Dimming

Just one issue though - it is an IPS panel so blacks are poor. Start feeding it HDR content and even with FALD it is going to start struggling.
If it had hdmi 2.1 id get it

It has the A7 processor which can't do HDR + 4K @ 120 fps simultaneously anyway so HDMI2.1 on this would be wasted just like on the OLED B8. It can still handle 4K @ 120 FPS without HDR though using its HDMI2.0b. You need the models with the A9 processor to take full advantage of HDMI2.1.

Due to it's high HDR brightness levels it doesn't do anywhere near as poorly as you would expect though. And when you take into account it costs just £999 for 65" it performs amazingly with build quality to match.

For example compare it with the more expensive Samsung QLED Q60, which has an extremely poor peak HDR brightness of less than 400 nits compared with just under 1500, and it performs better with HDR content despite the Samsung having a VA panel. Also the bonus of it not looking bad as soon as you move off centre.

I don't think there is much between the two. I wouldn't be too fussed. As you said you've got a fantastic TV.

Should work, I bought one after posting the deal. Try a different browser just in case the browser is causing issues. I'm sure if you ring they'll sort you out.

It's annoying when this kind of thing happens. Hope you get it resolved.

I tried this too with no luck. Still a good price with 6 year guarantee. The new SM9800 is a very similar TV for a lot more money.
Is this comparable to an OLED?

No. Different technologies, both have their pros and cons.

No the only thing comparable to an OLED is another OLED until micro LED comes along which should be a game changer but will be very expensive for the first few years.
