£15, I believe you can get an online-only membership for that with no requirements.
has anyone seen any reviews for this? Google didnt come up with much
Looks good - HDR - 10 bit panel - Dolby Vision.

Only 3 hdmi's.

I've been looking for a 65 inch 4k tv and gone for this.

90 days to return if not happy (keep the box) - plus 5 year guarantee and 6 months sky q (not sure how this works if you already have normal sky ?

The blurb on Costco page says 10 bit - the info from Samsung says 10 bit - what's FRC ?

The link you have posted says 10 bit panel ?

From the Richer Sounds website 8 bit screens reproduce 16.8 million colours. 10 bit screens vastly increase the colour count to 1 billion colours. FRC (Frame Rate Control) uses cyclic algorithms to offer 10 bit performance from an 8 bit panel.

Sounds good to me - and a lot more than other TV's around the same price seem to offer.

It also has Harmon Kardon sound system on board so hopefully wont need amp/soundbar

I have looked into the web os3 system it uses and it looks like you can have apps from usa/uk all on same app screen - ie a mixture of hulu, bbc iplayer, netflix etc all on one screen - you have to do a bit of fiddling (an easy guide would be helpful - I do have a Harmony remote which I think you need - plus a dns service).

I was going to go for the Hisense as I have a 55inch which is awesome - but this seems thinner and the viewing angle seems better,

I believe Netflix and Amazon apps are 4k / hdr / dolby vision from the get go...........

Fingers crossed its all good !

The HDR isn't anything special, the colour gamut is limited and while it has local dimming the implementation is one of the worst around.

If HDR is important you're better off spending more or opting for a 55" model at a similar price like an XD93.

As you say though, WebOS has a good app selection and the high quality IPS panel in this model does offer great viewing angles.

Its not going to be my Main Set - but I will be sure to report back when its delivered and set up.

We are re-decorating the lounge and with the apps etc built into the tv it will allow me to eliminate all the boxes etc that we have at the moment for the various catch up services.

Can you record from the tv to a hard drive ? This would be a huge bonus if you can as I can get rid of the Freeview hd recorder as well - which means media cabinet can go completely - amp is going in cinema room along with speakers etc.

Its replacing a 60 inch Plasma that's from 2012 - but still chugging along fine - but that's being relocated - it was one of the first "smart" TV's - but Samsung seem to have forgotten about the set so doesn't get any updates anymore.

But as a tv its still awesome.

I have 4k Netflix and Amazon Subs - so should be a doddle for everybody else to use instead of trying to teach people how to use 6 boxes.

Great deal and heat added, but the Harmon Kardon audio isn't very good, surprisingly.

I have a model or two up from this, and still use a Yamaha system with it because the sound is pretty tinny.

I think HK are slapping their name around a bit, because the £199 Sharp TV from Tesco on Black Friday also has their name on it.

Well to be fair I wouldn't trust what LG say about their cheaper line of LCD TV's either, such as passing off their rgbw sets as 4k.

Costco UK purchases and members. If you buy it online without being a member then you get your warranty but the price is going to be higher so you're effectively paying for the extended warranty. If you buy as a member, you need to be a member when you claim against the warranty. Best thing to do is call customer service if you want the information directly from Costco.
Is this better than the Sony Bravia 65 inch TV posted last night?

I'm in the market for a 65" and while I want 10 bit I don't want to pay £1439 for the Samsung UE65KS7000. Yet that is the lowest price I've seen the Samsung recently.

A 10-bit panel isn't worth wanting, it only makes a tiny difference in comparison to other HDR hardware. If you want good HDR then get something with lots of dimming zones. If you don't mind refurbished then a DX902 from Panasonic's outlet is a similar price to the KS7000 and much better.

This UH770 is a higher model than the Sony XD75 but neither are a TV I'd buy if HDR was a high priority. For a new and expensive technology like that you really do want to be spending the extra - or wait a year or two.
Hmm alright. Waiting a year or two isn't an option as I have a really old LCD and need a second TV for the bedroom so planning to replace the HD TV in the living room and move it to the bedroom.

I have also been looking at the Hisense 65M7000 which is similar price to this one. I have read good things about it but again not sure how it compares.

No, this one has a proper RGB display. Its the cheaper £500 rgbw panels that can't resolve 4k properly, its more like 2.8k

Hi guys has anyone ordered this tv off the website and had a delivery date issued i really want to order but it says up to 10 working days delivery. If the screen is rgbw then it isn't 4k (oled excepted as it works differently). Only LG and Philips use them i believe. You're safe with Sony, Samsung, hisense and rebadged vestel sets (although no vestel set can do HDR properly)

Hi

That's the sky tv offer.

The Costco offer runs until end of March 2017 - as long as its bought before this date you qualify - however its not a good offer IMHO - if your a new customer they want a lot for install - only 6 months is half price but its a 12 mnth contract - if your an existing customer then I don't think you qualify for anything.
