Can you lot PLEASE stop posting TV’s, I’d made my mind up on the Sony XF9005, then changed to the Samsung Q6, now I’m on the Samsung Q7 but only just...... the last thing I need is more choice
Surely an LG TV automatically has to be better than a Hisense TV, or is it not as simple as that?

Looking good
I'd risk getting square eyes for this Frankus
Is that better than the Hisense 65B7100UK for £80 more. Does this Tv come with 1 year warranty?

Knock out price Frank.

Thanks for posting 🥊🥊🥊

Oh no, only 3 HDMI inputs.

Probably not as simple as that
Oh this is tempting. Was going to wait for black Friday.... Hmm.....
No warranty?
From what I can find, the important bits are that's it's an IPS panel, 8 bit, 60hz and direct LED.

IPS gives you better viewing angles but this isn't going to give you deep blacks like higher end VA panel TVs give you.

HDR performance is going to be okay. Direct LED helps too. 8 bit panel means not the best colour reproduction.

But hey, it's damn cheap!
For the love of god switch off all the crazy digital jiggery pokey on this tv. Its stunning once set up correctly. If you're watching it in Vivid you need to see a psychiatrist and optometrist
Still debating whether to go for 65" or 75", partner said could not see much difference between our 55" and 65", but have to admit the 75" looked bonkers big but juicy, but the price difference is big at the Mo and any SD quality is also bonkers pap I might watch. Problems of the first world!

I think I’m set on the Q7, went to view it in Curry’s today to see it in action re the supposed bad angles... it wasn’t anywhere near as bad as some let on. Their price was good too, £999 with a £125 discount, but I have it price matched at JL fir £874 with a further £125 in store voucher that I’ll use to buy a bigger unit for it which we needed anyway since getting the NU8000 earlier this year

I think I’m set on buying this one (for now) but before I decide for definite I’m going to step into curry’s so I can see it in person, I’m looking for a cheaper tv so it will obviously lack in some areas but if the picture is great I’m good.

How did you get that deal?

How did you get that deal?

The TV has been reduced to 999 pretty much everywhere so JL dropped theirs too. Richersounds also have the Samsung deal that takes £125 off the price making it 874, because this is an open deal advertised on their site, JL will match.

JL also have an offer until Monday which bags you £125 in store vouchers when you buy this tv which you’ll get by 1st Dec. Some will say it’s a rubbish deal as you only get store vouchers, but I do need a new TV unit and regardless, they will match any store on price and they sell a wide range of stuff anyway. It’s been on here but you need to act fast, there’s another thread that tells you how to get another £75 from Vouchercodes but I’m skipping that due to the risk of losing the £125 hotukdeals.com/dea…861
Do you own one?

Personally I'm holding off (and hoping) Black Friday brings a hefty discount for the 65" Sony XF9005. It's one of the best non OLED TVs around.

Personally, no. And some will argue they are better than oleds too. No screen burn in, much higher nits for better HDR performance, better in a well let room.

I'd go for it
Oh I say..... bloody good deal this

It's a cheap no frills 65 inch TV. Not too sure what you expect for that price
Would this size TV look stupid in a smallish room, I mean 13ft by 10ft?

Yes, ridiculous. You’ll look like amateurs to all and sundry.
This isn't true 10bit it's 8bit + FRC and honestly after getting stung by my LG tv I'd never buy one again. HDR gaming is laughable! It's pitch black in the majority of places/scenes of you're thinking of buying a 4K TV q quick search on the below will do you no harm. displayspecifications.com/en/…8e0

Q7 will be far superior to this set. Obviously bigger price tag to match

Impossible to answer as it’s subjective. I personally think a huge TV in a small room looks stupid but I also think wall mounted TVs are awful too but plenty do it.

The main thing is make sure that the TV is good, I remember someone at work bragging that they had a 65” TV but it was a crap cheap one from Brighthouse, yes it was huge, but the build and picture quality was dreadful, I’d rather watch a bloody good 43” over a blurry mess of a 65” TV any day. Ultimately it’s your room, if you want it and can afford it, go for it

It's a budget TV, it hasn't got the brightness to really make the most of HDR. Will be better off turning it off in most situations.
