Specs are good, but 12 months warranty - really?
Anything with 120hz?
HDMI 2.1 with 100 Hz sounds good for PCs. Would be nice to break 60FPS at 4K.
Anyone reckon a LG/Samsung 65 inch deal around the 500/530 mark may come up for Black Friday? Oh did I mention i would like a 5 or 6 year warranty so a Richer Sounds / John Lewis deal would be the icing on the cake

I was disappointed about that too but as there’s nothing else really at 100 Hz/65” and in my budget so I decided to give it a go. In my experience TVs generally go pop in the first year or work for years - I just hope that continues

I even double checked with richer sounds - but they only had the 86” model

Absolutely agree!
Finally a tv in my budget lol I know it’s 100hz but does this mean it will be useless with the new gen consoles? Or will it be ok missing the 20 hz?(confused)

A lengthy, and seemingly inconclusive debate about this can be found here: hotukdeals.com/deals/lg-65un85006la-65-2020-smart-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-led-tv-with-hdmi-21-google-assistant-amazon-alexa-3562844

The deal page above says its expired, but it’s not really. Still the same price on the Curry’s store with the eBay code.

So is it 100 or 120 Mhz ? lol I have seen it described as both myself.

LG's UK page (lg.com/uk/…6la) describes it as "Super smooth 100Hz refresh rate, great for sports and gaming" !

Here a Expert Review about this tv rtings.com/tv/…500
Not knocking the deal but I've just had a mid range LG like this turn blue after just 2 and a bit years. Typically failed just outside of warranty. I'd keep a look out for a bravia personally, much better quality.

Fingers crossed this doesn’t happen.

I currently own a Sony Bravia KDL-55W755C and it was a Sony I was after but couldn’t find anything near this in my price range. There was a Sony next to it in the shop for £949 (sorry can’t remember the model) and in my opinion the picture on this was much better. I’ll find out tomorrow if I made the right choice.
Think I will pass- what I want is a TV with HDMI 2.1 and VRR support and this doesn’t have VRR. Fingers crossed over the next few weeks a nice bargain appears

But the website says this so maybe it does have VRR ?

Can anyone confirm if this TV has VRR and is 120Hz ? If yes, then it looks like a bargain.

"A higher frame rate, VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) all meeting HDMI 2.1 specifications. These latest features allow fast-moving content in higher resolution and smooth, synchronized graphics. It's a more lifelike gaming experience"

Not if you want the full expirence... Pc and next gen only work at either 60 or 120 so this will actually drop the hz rate down to 60

You mean the 55inch one for £1399? So 10 inches smaller than this one and over twice the cost. Yeah no wonder it's good!
