I say this all the time. Crazy how cheap they are. Back in 2001 I paid £1000 for a 28" Sony Vega lol

I paid £4000 for my Pioneer Kuro 60 10 years ago. Granted it was the best you could get at the time but this TV is probably on par (knowing LG make good TVs) Appreciate top tier TVs are going for silly money but between £700 and £1400 there so much to choose from nowadays

Around 2000 my mates mam had one of them rear projector Tv's it was probably only a 41" or something but holy mother of god was it big, was actually like a cinema when we watched it, she got that from Makro and paid grands for it

We had a 49 inch one of those, JVC I think it was. The speakers were the best part of it. Viewing angles were shockingly poor.
Seen one of these in the flesh, picture was okay but it was very thick, i.e. Plasma TV circa 2005 thick - came with a magic remote though and it had a metal back which was a nice touch. Last years 70" came down to £650ish from multiple retailers, I would hold out as there is scope for this to be reduced further.
