Oh wow, quality must be low end but still 70" surely it's alright for part time Netflix with the family no?
Yes its more than good enough. Action movies and sport won't be perfect!
It's the 6950 lg but better since that is now discontinued

Nice spot BF, a 70" UHD TV, with ThinQ Ai features, with no fake 4K RGBw panel, no rubbish fake hdr, 2019 nits variation, all under a grand or less with TCB!

What issues,

What issues,

Our 55SK8000PLB just had a line of dead pixels and then the day after the whole panel go after 7 months, had it picked up for repair under warranty, bought an LG B8 OLED to replace it and we'll put the old one in one of the bedrooms.

Got the OLED home to find a line of dead pixels vertically down the left side . Returned it to richer sounds for a brand new one though. Previously ive had no issues with any of our LG TV's but its bound to happen at some point, won't go anywhere else now that I've seen the customer service from Richer Sounds though, plus 6 years warranty!
Hi peeps...Anyone got any comment on how the viewing angle decency of these compares with other LCD's of the past few years? My Samsung Plasma failed on me a few years ago, so I picked up a 60 inch 1080p Sony LCD (KDL60W605 specifically) to bridge the gap for a few years till decent 4k sets of similar size dropped in price. I've been quite happy with the image quality, but the second sofa in the lounge is off to one side, and compared to the old plasma, the image looks quite washed out, from a viewing angle of what is probably about 35 degrees from centre I'd think.

Says your Sony vewing Angle (Up / Down). 178(89/89) degree.

Yeh I was aware of the quoted spec ta, though I guess my point is, the manufacturer numbers clearly don't tell the whole story. Sure it might be technically viewable at 89 degrees to centre, but considering it already looks quite washed out at 35-40 degrees, it's only going to look worse the further round you sit. Where my old plasma, I'd watched in it's former location at probably 70 degrees from centre, and while it feels a little odd sat that far off to one side, the picture still looked pretty similar to when I was sat dead in front of it.

Ultimately, I know the only way to know will be to go have a look around a couple of shops, but was just wondering if someone on here had seen these in the flesh already, compared to something like my Sony.

I think you'll find the same on most TVs (I'm prepared to be shot down now) spent a lot of time looking at TVs over last 6 months and unless it's an OLED, QLED Q9 or Q90 or one of the new LG nanotech TVs all of them start to looked washed out over a 30 degree angle.
I bought the LG - 75UK6200PLB 75" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR and its been superb
the size and weight is massive, before I had a 49" one and the screen size is literally twice that of a 49 even tho 49>75 isn't double in figs, the screen size is
