Very tempted but on the website it doesn't seem to state it has the usual 5 year guarantee. I know it used to as I was looking at this set previously.
Edge LED will be poor and easily show up LCD foibles at 75".
I'd personally rather have and edge-lit TV over direct unless it was a FALD panel. On the two large edge lit TV's we've had over the past couple of years, a 60" Sharp and 58" Hisense they've both been excellent when it came to uniformity and bleed.

The back-lighting method means nothing though if this is using an IPS panel, whether it be back or edge-lit you'll have banding and dirty screen effect coupled with a sub 1000-1 contrast ratio.
Would much rather have the Hisense 75H6800 for £1499 which is also 10% off at AO on eBay. These lower model LGs are a bit crap.

It's only 1 year
The reviews on their website seem good but not sure how reliable they are.
