Cinema-like picture
The LG 75UM7000PLA 75" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV has an IPS 4K display so you can watch your favourite shows in vibrant details and vivid colours. Take in the beauty of nature with BBC's latest documentary series, or switch on a blockbuster, and see how even fantastical characters look clear and realistic.

4K Active HDR

The UM7000 takes HDR even further with adaptable advanced HDR which adjusts each image so you always get the best contrast and the richest colours. Even older favourites get upgraded to the HDR levels – classic dramas never looked so good.

Smart webOS
There's always something on TV with the UM70. LG's webOS is packed with apps to keep everyone happy. Catch that must-see comedy series from Channel 4, settle down for a Netflix boxset bonanza in 4K, or rent a movie from the Sky Store.

Bought a tv from richer sounds last year. Tv decided to not respond to the remote. Called customer service and an engineers came out to have a look. Couldn’t repair without going back. A week later all is fixed and will be returned and set back up at the house. All this during the week of Xmas. People compliment John Lewis about their warranty but I wouldn’t hesitate to use richer sounds instead. Just my thought

799 currys

Yes, but this has a 6 year warranty, worth the extra £30?

Richer Sounds have a customer service that every store should model themselves on.

Is this better than the 799 one here (richersounds.com/tv-…tml) if so - how?

The OP is for a 7000 series, the other that you referenced is a 6200, going by the numbers alone, I would say the original is better.

Numbers can be deceiving, the 200 of 6200 may indicate higher quality being 2 models above in a previous generation.

Look at CPU processors, a Ryzen 2600 is gonna be more powerful than a Ryzen 3200... by a lot!

I'd say so yes
Im trying to find out the definitive difference between the 2 75 inch LG's at RicherSounds, so this one at 829 with code verus the one at £779 and the Samsung at £779 also. I messaged them on FB and all i got back was a link to the comparison feature on their site which didnt really answer my question. One of the LG's is advertised as FreeSat HD where as the other isnt but does have a sat socket, so does it support freesat? Also the Samsung UE75RU7020, is that a better or worse by does anyone know please?
