Sorry about that, yeah it's meant to go to ebuyer, but I'd put the wrong retailer in the title. I've fixed it now, thanks. oO

No, having never heard of them, I would be wary. I would not buy from an unknown company unless there was a serious saving to justify the risk.

Crescent Electronics have had many deals posted on this site, have a 5 star Google seller rating, and have been accept by Paypal for payments. I think that's good enough for most people, but you spend your extra fiver....X)

Cheaper at scan if you get free delivery

Not true, the OEM version is cheaper, but this is the retail version with software (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/lg-bh10ls30auar-10x-blu-ray-writer-16x-dvdr-8x-plusrw-6x-rw-12x-ram-retail-plus-software) @£84.

I'm not going to debate the pros/cons of OEM versions but just thought I'd point out that you're not comparing like-for-like.

I would stay away from LG drives in any case.

I would stay away from LG drives in any case.

Why?

I have 2 LG drives - both running fine for years.
Would have thought LG were one of the better optical drive manufacturers.

could i put this drive in a caddy so i can use it on a macbook?
